The Lake Hawkins RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Hawkins, Texas and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. Situated right on the lake, campers can look forward to a host of excellent attractions, such as picnicking, hiking and biking, as well as fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding on the water. The lake is also extremely picturesque, and many visitors head out there at dusk for sunset viewing and stargazing. Just minutes from the park are a number of great eateries for campers to enjoy. We have 74 sites that sit on 24 acres in a beautiful country setting. We are conveniently located near Interstate 30 and within 15 minutes of shopping and dining. There is a 1 acre catch and release lake that will be stocked with a variety of fish this spring. Also coming this spring we will have a dog park, playground, Event Barn and pavilion. We have a restroom/shower and laundry facility available at the office. There are many acres of walking trails in phase 2 of the RV park. Phase 2 will be coming later this year with tiny cabins and treehouses available to rent. We offer nightly, weekly and monthly rates. The Central Texas RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Franklin Texas and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. We have pull through sites to support large class A motorhomes with a tow behind vehicle and also smaller back in spaces for truck campers and trailers. The Texas State Railroad Campground is located 3 miles west of the beautiful East Texas town of Rusk and is a great spot for a fun southern escape! We offer campsites with water only, water and electricity or full hookups with 30/50-amp service and sewer. The Grounds offer picnic tables, fire rings, and WiFi! There are separate showers and restrooms onsite, a nature trail and a campground office complete with a gift shop and firewood for purchase. The 15-acre Cherokee Lake is where fishermen will find a variety of fish including crappie, catfish, striped bass, sauger, walleye, smallmouth bass, bluegill and largemouth bass. Whether they are casting, spinning or flying fish, chances of getting a bite are good! Onsite, travelers may look forward to historic sightseeing. For the history buff, there's plenty of other historic sites, a number of green spaces of nature walks and scenic viewing and of course, visitors may expect great local eateries and bars to enjoy.
