The Fossil Ridge Campground is located in the beautiful Texas town of Denison and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. The campground is at Eisenhower Park, and is known for its breathtaking natural terrain, hiking and ATV trails and modern marina. Campers can look forward to a number of offsite attractions such as the Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site, Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, Fairfield Lake State Park and the Waterloo Lake Regional Park. Among these sites, travelers can enjoy great sight seeing and outdoor fun like wildlife viewing, hiking, fishing, boating, paddle boarding and kayaking. Grandpappy Point Marina, Grayson County Frontier Village and the Red River Railroad Museum are other camper favorites. We have 74 sites that sit on 24 acres in a beautiful country setting. We are conveniently located near Interstate 30 and within 15 minutes of shopping and dining. There is a 1 acre catch and release lake that will be stocked with a variety of fish this spring. Also coming this spring we will have a dog park, playground, Event Barn and pavilion. We have a restroom/shower and laundry facility available at the office. There are many acres of walking trails in phase 2 of the RV park. Phase 2 will be coming later this year with tiny cabins and treehouses available to rent. We offer nightly, weekly and monthly rates. We are located midway between Oklahoma City, OK and Dallas, TX at Exit 24. Easy off and on I-35, then .8 mile east. Entrance to Lake Murray is 1½ miles east of our park. As a family-owned operation, we take pride in providing you and your family a fun and relaxing time in a gorgeous country setting, AND it is available all year around! Our facility has 90 large pull-thru sites to accommodate Big Rigs, plus 38 back-in sites. All of our guests enjoy full hook-ups, 30/50A, concrete pads with grass yards, free Wi-Fi, and Cable TV at each site! All park roads are paved.
