Less than a mile from Cloudcroft is the Lower Fir Group Campground in the Lincoln National Forest reserve. As you'd expect, there's plenty to do in this area: take your family on hiking and biking expeditions through the dense, gorgeous forestry of the campground, and go on plenty of picnics while you're there. You can also walk to Cloudcroft for some shopping, entertainment and interaction with the friendly locals.

Enjoy the widely dispersed camp sites of the Silver Overflow Campground in the Lincoln National Forest. Popular for its showers and musician presentations at the silver Amphitheater, the campground is idyllic and bustling with activity and fun, especially during the summer months. Learn about the outdoors through the amphitheater's visitor programs, and go roaming around the various trails and paths. With gorgeous scenes and curious wildlife, you and your group will stay engaged and entertained throughout your trip.

The Three Rivers Petroglyph Site is the biggest collection of petroglyphs in the nation, and is a great place to immerse yourself in the history and rich culture of the southwest. Hikers prepare for some challenging and scenic trails, and great views of the Sierra and Tularosa Basin. The nearby trading post is also world-class, offering campers a pick of the best local arts and craft, each unique piece holding some historic or cultural significance. Fall in love with the southwest at this park, where there's so much of nature to explore. Hike the gorgeous desert vistas, or mountain bike the hills around the campground. There's also so much stargazing to be done, so settle in at dusk to enjoy the reds and oranges of an iconic New Mexico sunset and strap in for the nighttime light show.  

Located in the Lincoln National Forest, New Mexico are the Bluff Springs Dispersed Campsites. It is a partially developed picnic area with dispersed campsites with spectacular mountain views, and beautiful forestry all around. Take one of the trails around clumps of wildflowers, and be sure to catch at least one sunset or sunrise; have a camera handy! There's also a few small waterfalls within the park so keep your eyes open for that! Most visitors to this site go off to the Cloudcroft village to take advantage of the local sights and do some gift or food shopping. Maybe you'll be in time for one of the three annual festivals that take place in Zenith Park in the village.

Adjacent to the Malpais Lava Flow is the Valley of Fires recreation Area. Travelers love this park because from a distance, the hardened lava flows appear barren, but a hike around the formation will reveal a variety of flowers, cacti, bushes and trees common in the Chihuahuan desert. The area is also known to be buzzing with wildlife. Look forward to barberry sheep, bats, mule deer, road runner, great horned owls and a plethora of other bird species uncommon in other parts of the state. Enjoy the fully accessibly Malpais Nature Trail, horseback riding and picnicking.

We offer 260 full hook up sites with private cement patios, strong WiFi, a state of the art laundry facility, shower facility, gravel roads, a playground, a dog park, a sand volleyball pit, covered picnic area, outdoor grills, and fireplaces, and more. Our campground is quiet and settled within a residential area. We also offer storage for your vehicles and RV's. You'll find many attractions nearby such as Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Living Desert State Park and Zoo, and the Carlsbad Waterpark! All facilities are electronic and can be paid for through credit/debit card. Cash payments will not be accepted once you have arrived at the park. Please note that additional fees may apply for pets, vehicles, etc.    We have a $100 deposit is required at check-in. Refundable at check out if site is left clean and no damage has been done.

The Turner RV Park is located in Mountainair, and is conveniently located near a number of excellent attractions. Look forward to a one hour drive from Albuquerque, where you can find a number of great activities, shops and restaurants. Most people visit for the International Balloon Festival, as well as sight seeing the beautiful terrain of the city. The park is also close to the fourth of July mountains and the Salinas Pueblos Missions National Monument. The Salinas Pueblo Monuments are some close sights to go see in New Mexico. There are 3 different ruins to see, one is 8 miles away, another 11 miles away, and the third is 25 miles away. There is an awesome array of sites to choose from for all kinds of rigs and camping styles that include full 30/50 amp hookups along with family suites and kitchenettes available that come equip with a coffeemaker, DirecTV, refrigerator, and microwave. There are a various amount of amenities that would elate anyone who stays here which include BBQ and patio areas, laundry facilities, restroom and shower facilities, trash services and a dump station. The Valley View Mobile Home & RV Park is located in Fort Sumner, New Mexico, and is a great spot to sight see. Not only is the park in the middle of an iconic southwestern desert, meaning gorgeous sunsets and sunrises, but there's gorgeous plains and beautiful mountains in the background? Visitors can also visit the Billy The Kid Museum which is only a few minutes from the campground. The Bosque Redondo Memorial is also nearby. Enjoy some great local foods as well, such as Fred's Mexican Food. 

The Raccoon Campground is located at Sumner Lake, New Mexico and is a great spot for your next excursion. The reservoir is popular for its abundance of crappie, walleye, bass and catfish and is also a great place for swimming or just idling by the water's edge. The lake is also surrounded by scenic patched of forestry, perfect for hiking, biking and exploring and is especially excellent if you love wildlife like curious deer and beautifully-colored birds. About an hour away is the town of Santa Rose which is filled with cultural nuances, eateries and attractions, so be sure to take a day trip out there!

Take advantage of the spacious and well laid-out Desert Paradise Mobile Home & RV Village near the White Sands National Monument in New Mexico. There are plenty of hiking trails near Orogrande or near High Rolls, and others at Cloudcroft. Set against the breathtaking Sacramento Mountains, the Oliver Lee Memorial park features a historic ranch house, quiet camping in the Chihuahuan Desert, and the unique oasis of pools of water under the cottonwood trees of Dog Canyon. Visitors can look forward to a short walk on the Riparian Nature Trail or a challenging hike up the Dog Canyon Trail, as well as acres and acres of beautiful desert vistas. Picnicking and wildlife viewing are also popular activities at this site.

The Mansano Mountains State Park is located in Mountainair, New Mexico and at an elevation of over 7,000 feet, it is known for its wonderfully cool temperatures and outdoor activities. Campers head there for the excellent set and interpretive trails for hiking and biking. The park associations also holds educational programs which is great for campers hoping to learn more about the wildlife and where to catch glimpses of the various birds that call the park home. The area is also perfect for sight seeing; look up at dawn or dusk to see the iconic New Mexico sky and pause in awe over those spectacular reds and oranges. 

Pecos Campground is nestled beside Sumner Lake and is a beautiful oasis of flora and fauna, drawing waves of eager visitors each year. Fish for crappie, catfish, walleye and bass, and settled in on evenings for beautiful New Mexico sunsets. The area is also known for scenic patches of forestry and hiking trails, so bring your hiking boots and camera in case you catch a glimpse of a deer or wild bird during an excursion! The campsite is also an hour from the town of Santa Rosa, so if you're also looking for great shopping and southwestern dining options, you don't have to travel too far.

River at the Pecos River is the Pecos River RV Park & Store. Visit the small town of Carlsbad and many other great New Mexico attractions during your stay at this park.
