The Turner RV Park is located in Mountainair, and is conveniently located near a number of excellent attractions. Look forward to a one hour drive from Albuquerque, where you can find a number of great activities, shops and restaurants. Most people visit for the International Balloon Festival, as well as sight seeing the beautiful terrain of the city. The park is also close to the fourth of July mountains and the Salinas Pueblos Missions National Monument. The Salinas Pueblo Monuments are some close sights to go see in New Mexico. There are 3 different ruins to see, one is 8 miles away, another 11 miles away, and the third is 25 miles away. There is an awesome array of sites to choose from for all kinds of rigs and camping styles that include full 30/50 amp hookups along with family suites and kitchenettes available that come equip with a coffeemaker, DirecTV, refrigerator, and microwave. There are a various amount of amenities that would elate anyone who stays here which include BBQ and patio areas, laundry facilities, restroom and shower facilities, trash services and a dump station. We are a small family owned and operated campground located in Vaughn, New Mexico. Great for overnight stays when traveling through eastern New Mexico. We are right on US 54, US 60 and US 285. . 

Located off Old Highway 60 in Bernardo, New Mexico, Kiva RV Park & Horse Motel is a local favorite. The Long Point Campground is a primitive campsite right next to the Elephant Butte Lake State Park, and is one of the park's most picturesque sites. Settle right on the lake's banks for quiet, simple camping, and be sure to take advantage of the lake and all there is to do like swimming, water skiing, fishing and canoeing. The area is also prime for exploring so go out for a long hike or bike ride, and return in time to watch a spectacular sunset over the lake surface. On that note, be sure to do some stargazing while you're at this park; with clear, open skies, the light show is spectacular!

Set against the breathtaking Sacramento Mountains, the Oliver Lee Memorial park features a historic ranch house, quiet camping in the Chihuahuan Desert, and the unique oasis of pools of water under the cottonwood trees of Dog Canyon. Visitors can look forward to a short walk on the Riparian Nature Trail or a challenging hike up the Dog Canyon Trail, as well as acres and acres of beautiful desert vistas. Picnicking and wildlife viewing are also popular activities at this site.

With excellent weather, the Elephant Butte Lake is perfect for long-term winter-birds. There's tons to do nearby to keep visitors occupied; look forward to the Truth or Consequence spring, Riverbend Hot Springs, Bosque Del Apache Wildlife Preserve and Geronimo Springs museum. The Riverbend Hot Springs Resort sits on the banks of the beautiful Rio Grande and has a great view of Turtleback Mountain. The resort is popular because of its instituted zen hours and areas to ensure a serene and relaxing environment for visitors. The park associations also holds educational programs which is great for campers hoping to learn more about the wildlife and where to catch glimpses of the various birds that call the park home. The area is also perfect for sight seeing; look up at dawn or dusk to see the iconic New Mexico sky and pause in awe over those spectacular reds and oranges.
