Located in the Lincoln National Forest near Ruidoso, Cedar Creek (Sam Tobias Memorial Group Campground) is a sprawling cascade of thick, green foliage and thriving wildflowers. The campground can accommodate up to 100 people, and has pavilions to help campers enjoy shaded social events. Campers can look forward to breathtaking views of the mountain ranges, clear skies, and excellent stargazing at night. There are also natural trails that make for great hiking and biking excursions.

Three Rivers Campground is a rustic-styled campground located in the Lincoln National Forest. It's a perfect place to skip the crowds if you're looking for a quiet getaway, since it's located at a lower elevation compared to the other campgrounds in the area. From here you can access the Three Rivers trailhead and hike, horseback ride and bike through the enchanting clumps of forestry and wildlife. Enjoy spectacular views of long mountain ranges and desert-like plains, and be sure to picnic under the clear night skies where you can catch a great view of the stars. This park is relatively close to Ruidoso, so stop by the city for some shopping, fine dining and to pick up supplies.

Locally owned and operated, Mama Bear RV Park is conveniently located in Capitan, New Mexico. Conveniently located near shops, restaurants and various businesses, this park makes it easy for visitors to camp out for extended stays. Run down to the post office or grocery store and explore the Smokey Bear State Park while you're in town. Fort Stanton and Ruidoso are also relatively nearby for the history-buff out there. Adjacent to the Malpais Lava Flow is the Valley of Fires recreation Area. Travelers love this park because from a distance, the hardened lava flows appear barren, but a hike around the formation will reveal a variety of flowers, cacti, bushes and trees common in the Chihuahuan desert. The area is also known to be buzzing with wildlife. Look forward to barberry sheep, bats, mule deer, road runner, great horned owls and a plethora of other bird species uncommon in other parts of the state. With 30 sites, and close to the vistas of Sierra Blanca, Oak Grove Campground is one not to miss with its lush forestry and surrounding miles of sky-scraping mountain ranges. Visitors enjoy bicycling and hiking the winding, dirt trails, horseback riding, hunting and picnicking under the shaded areas of the campground.

Bonito Lake Campground is just a mile from Bonito Lake. Even though there's no fishing at the lake, there is plenty to do such as: camping, hiking and so much sight seeing along the gorgeous green mountain ranges.

The Skyline Campground is located south of the famous Monjeau Lookout Tower along Forest Road. Visitors enjoy exquisite scenery, and breathtaking mountain views. With access to the White Mountain Wilderness via the Crest Trailhead. Campers can enjoy a range of activities such as hiking, biking, horseback riding, picnicking, hunting, and of course snowboarding and skiing during the winter months.

The Three Rivers Petroglyph Site is the biggest collection of petroglyphs in the nation, and is a great place to immerse yourself in the history and rich culture of the southwest. Hikers prepare for some challenging and scenic trails, and great views of the Sierra and Tularosa Basin. The nearby trading post is also world-class, offering campers a pick of the best local arts and craft, each unique piece holding some historic or cultural significance. Fall in love with the southwest at this park, where there's so much of nature to explore. Hike the gorgeous desert vistas, or mountain bike the hills around the campground. There's also so much stargazing to be done, so settle in at dusk to enjoy the reds and oranges of an iconic New Mexico sunset and strap in for the nighttime light show.  

The Elk Run Cabins and RV Park is located in the beautiful mountains of Alto, New Mexico, and are just a few minutes from Ruidoso, Ski Apache, Spencer Theater and Bonito Lake. If you are looking for peace and quiet we are where you want to be!  Mountain Meadows RV Park sits at the base of the mountains and has great high desert views of the surrounding mountains and great views of the New Mexico sunrises and sunsets!  All other parks in the area are off the highway and near the train tracks and we are off the highway approximately two and a half miles and will only hear the highway traffic and trains in the faint distance.  Mountain Meadows RV Park is located between Alamogordo/Tularosa, New Mexico and is the perfect base camp for a number of great local attractions. Close to Alamogordo, the campsite offer campers the chance to explore the White Sands National Monument, Space Museum, Cloudcroft, Sunspot, Valley of Fires, Ruidoso, and the Three Rivers Petroglyph Site.
