Jemez Falls - USFS is located near the beautiful New Mexico city of Santa Fe, and is a great camping spot for the history-buff and the desert lover. Fall in love with New Mexico by visiting the Onderosa Group Campground in the Banedlier National Monument. Look forward to not only the spectacular views of the moment, but also great hiking trails such as the Main Loop Trail, Tsankawi Trail and the backcountry region of the monument. Be sure to keep your cameras and binoculars handy for the American Pika, deer and other wildlife that are common around this park. There are only two sites avilable though, so reserve one early! The Jemez Mountains is the breathtaking backdrop for the Fenton Lake State Park in Jemez Springs, New Mexico. Surrounded by beautiful ponderosa pines, the park is ideal of wildlife viewing and hiking, and with the Rio Cebolla running through it, it's also excellent for fishing and canoeing. The river is well-stocked with rainbow trout and German brown trout; ice fishing is also popular there. The park also has a fun playground for kids making it well-sought after among the little ones, and is also known to attract cross-country skiiers during the winter months. Boating, horseback riding and picnicking are also common activities at the park.

At an elevation of over 7,000 feet, the Lobo Canyon Campground is perfectly situated for excellent picnic-friendly weather. Enjoy time spent with family and friends, surrounded by lush ponderosa, juniper and pinion and plenty of shade. Enjoy hiking the interpretive trails and biking among the hills, but be careful not to intrude on sacred Indian territory that will be marked off. 

Grants / Cibola Sands KOA includes amenities such as electricity. This campground is located on 26 Cibola Sands Loop, South Highway 53 in Grants, NM and is open Feb 1 - Dec 31.

The Coyote Creek State Park is located an hour east of Taos, and is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo mountains. Just beside a meandering stream, campers can enjoy hours of fly fishing, as well as the sights and sounds of a flourishing waterside oasis that's enclosed by spruce and pine. With tons of wild flowers to photograph, the park is also excellent for hiking, biking, picnicking and birding. We can't wait for you to visit the creek and see it all!

The Riana Abiquiu Lake COE located on a scenic bluff overlooking the scenic Abiquiu Lake in northern New Mexico. Look forward to the distinctive scents of the area from fragrant pinion pine, sage and juniper, as well as breathtaking sights from the colorful rock formations around the park. Look forward to amazing sights and fresh air, but be prepared for chilly night. Jemez Falls is the largest waterfall among the Jemez mountains and it is close to the camp site. The Valles Caldera National Preserve, the hot springs at Jemez Springs and Bandelier National Forest are nearby attractions. La Cueva is the nearest town, and there you can find convenience stores for supplies and various local eateries and restaurants. You can also enjoy river and stream fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding and picnicking at this park. Spots are filled on a first come first serve basis, and there are only a few amenities such as: picnic tables, Rv hookups, water and fire rings.
