The Deer Spring RV Park is located along the breathtaking Rio Pensaco in the Sacramento mountains of southern New Mexico. Visit the Mayhill Cafe, Burro Street Bakery of just explore the beautiful, wooded area around the park to possibly glimpse a deer or an elk. 

The Long Point Campground is a primitive campsite right next to the Elephant Butte Lake State Park, and is one of the park's most picturesque sites. Settle right on the lake's banks for quiet, simple camping, and be sure to take advantage of the lake and all there is to do like swimming, water skiing, fishing and canoeing. The area is also prime for exploring so go out for a long hike or bike ride, and return in time to watch a spectacular sunset over the lake surface. On that note, be sure to do some stargazing while you're at this park; with clear, open skies, the light show is spectacular!

Take advantage of the spacious and well laid-out Desert Paradise Mobile Home & RV Village near the White Sands National Monument in New Mexico. There are plenty of hiking trails near Orogrande or near High Rolls, and others at Cloudcroft. It's near several great attractions such as Cloudcroft, the Apache Reservation Casino and the White Sands Missile Range. Alamogordo is filled with history and beauty, and is popular for its outdoor sporting activities like biking and disc-surfing down the sand dunes of the White Sand Monument. Tour the various nearby attractions like the New Mexico Museum of Space History, hike or disc-sled down the gypsum dunes at the White Sands National Monument or explore the ancient rock drawings at the Three Rivers Petroglyph site.
