The Indian Trees Campground is located in the rugged Bitterroot National Forest. Campers can look forward to excellent fishing for cutthroat and other types of trout at the nearby Camp Creek. There's also several excellent hiking trails, so expect challenging paths along the Nez Perce National Historic Trail and a neighboring scenic trail. While visitors explore, they can keep their eyes open for wildlife such as mule and white-tailed deer, moose and elk, as well as smaller animals and birds. Big game hunting is popular at the Indian Trees Campground. Nearby are several great attractions like the Lost Trail hot Spring and neighboring creeks and streams. 

The Salmon Lake Campground is nestled between the majestic Mission and Swan mountain ranges, and the lake itself provides a peaceful setting for your next Montana getaway. Campers can look forward to boating, fishing for whitefish and trout, canoeing or kayaking, water skiing, or just enjoy a picnic at the waterside. If you enjoy birding, you'll absolutely love this bar, so look forward to species like red-necked grepes, great blue herons, bald eagles and osprey. There's also a thriving wilderness of fir and pine trees to explore and hike, and while you're out there, keep your eyes peeled for elk, mule deer and moose. The Black Sandy State Park is located in Helena, Montana and is one of the area's most popular camping spots. Get ready for a wide variety of outdoor activities, so plan for a long vacation. Visitors can look forward to picnicking at the parks that line the Hauser Reservoir, or go fishing at any of the numerous bodies of water at the state park. Boating, water skiing, canoeing and kayaking are also popular, and be sure to come by during the winter time for ice fishing and other winter time activities.
