Backpacking and horseback riding are also common here, as is wildlife viewing and stargazing. The nearby seasonal streams are also ideal for freshwater fishing and wading. 

If you're looking for a beautiful and serene escape into the gorgeous mountains of the Lewis and Clark National Park, you'll be in for a treat at the Benchmark Campground. Neighbored by heavily wooden and the Wood Creek, this campsite is perfect for early mornings journeys down to the waterside for fishing and fresh air, and long, challenging hikes through the forest. Visitors can also take advantage of canoeing, kayaking, boating and swimming, as well as clear, dark skies for stargazing. 

Buddy's RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Salmon, Idaho and is a great spot for a fun and relaxing vacation. Campers can look forward to a number of great attractions just beyond the campground including the Lewis and Clark Trail, Lemhi County Historical Society & Museum, Sacajawea Interpretive, Cultural & Educational Center and the Salmon-Challis National Forest. Among these attractions, campers can enjoy great snow boarding, skiing, scenic and wildlife viewing, biking and hiking. There's also the Lewis and Clark Back Country Byway, Sacajawea Scenic Byway and a number of great local wineries, specialty shops and craft eateries for visitors to take advantage of. The Wall Creek Cabin is located in South Ennis, and is a quiet area for rest, relaxation and adventure. There are three buildings at this site: a barn, main house and cabin, but only the cabin is available for public use. Visitors can look forward to horseback riding the various paths, as well as taking advantage of the hiking and mountain biking trails. The area is also known for its spectacular views, so get ready for beautiful scenes, and curious wildlife like elk, deer and moose. The cabin area is popular for hunting, so it your love to hunt, you'll love this camping spot. 

The Cardwell Store & RV Park is known for its excellent onsite amenities and attractions right on site! Located directly behind a convenience store and gas station you won’t have to go far to get what you need. Bring your pets, we’d love to have them stay with us as well!   Amenities & Activities The park features amenities such as: pull through sites, big rig access, clean restrooms & hot showers, sewer & water access, free WIFI, laundry facilities, electricity, a gas station, and a convenience store. Enjoy local fishing or a game of horseshoes.   Attractions You can also look forward to attractions such as the Cardwell Community Church, Lewis & Clark Caverns and a long list of great local fishing spots.
