Wilder Park offers 88 acres of camping, picnicking, walking, biking, or playtime! We are conveniently located 1/4 mile east of Allison, Iowa on Highway 3. Our amenities include two fishing ponds, a dog park, 18-hole frisbee disc golf, sand volleyball, two playgrounds, picnic shelters, pickle ball court, BMX pump track, large in-ground chess/checkers board, Wilder Mountain, intra-park hard surfaced walking/biking trail connected to Rolling Prairie Trail, 18-acre wildflower prairie, forest, severe storm shelters, two library kiosks, entertainment stage with free summer concerts and on-site camp host.   Occasional Friday night food trucks and Saturday morning coffee truck.

Indian Lake Park is a 177-acre, city owned park.  This delightful retreat is an ideal location not only for fishermen, but for picnickers and campers alike.  In addition to the 44-acre, no wake lake, the Park has many tree-shaded areas for the non-fisherman, as well.  A lovely two-mile nature interpretive trail encompasses the lake and is great for hiking, biking, and cross country skiing in the winter. The lake has a roped-off swimming area (swim at your own risk-no lifeguard) and kayaks and canoes are available for rent.  Whether your interest is camping, fishing, hiking, picnicking, or a reunion, you will find Indian Lake Park the perfect setting. The campground is located along the Pecatonica River and Tri-County Recreational Trail.  Ride and enjoy the many sights along the famous Cheese Country ATV Trail and local Darlington ATV Club Trails. Visit Mathys Ace Hardware for your non-resident trail pass, if needed. Launch your canoe and paddle the Pecatonica River or fish & swim along the banks of the river. Take a stroll along the lighted walking path.  Just sit and relax and enjoy the wildlife along the water’s edge! Don’t forget to enjoy shopping and eating in Darlington, or travel a short distance to historic Shullsburg or Mineral Point.  The possibilities are endless! Hickory Haven RV Park and Campground sits on 27 acres of heavily shaded ground, ½ mile off state highway 61/218, just north of Keokuk Iowa. The developed property, includes 53, level drive thru or back in sites with full hook-up (water, electric and sewer) with 30 and 50 amp metered electrical. In addition there are a large number of sites for tent camping, with fire pits and 20 amp electric. It features 16 full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly (option of 30 or 50 amp). Many of them are pull through accessible. The park provides limited Wifi, welcomes pets on a leash, and has a sewer hookups at every site.  Campsite amenities offered include picnic tables and fire circles. It also includes basic amenities like restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities. Visitors can also enjoy activities such as biking, hiking, fishing, and wildlife watching. Our little community has 2 banks, grocery store, hardware store, pharmacy, restaurants, NAPA auto, 2 gas stations, including Casey's pizza, Dollar General, and a historical hotel who guests have met a ghost or two.
