Wilder Park offers 88 acres of camping, picnicking, walking, biking, or playtime! We are conveniently located 1/4 mile east of Allison, Iowa on Highway 3. Our amenities include two fishing ponds, a dog park, 18-hole frisbee disc golf, sand volleyball, two playgrounds, picnic shelters, pickle ball court, BMX pump track, large in-ground chess/checkers board, Wilder Mountain, intra-park hard surfaced walking/biking trail connected to Rolling Prairie Trail, 18-acre wildflower prairie, forest, severe storm shelters, two library kiosks, entertainment stage with free summer concerts and on-site camp host.   Occasional Friday night food trucks and Saturday morning coffee truck.

Indian Lake Park is a 177-acre, city owned park.  This delightful retreat is an ideal location not only for fishermen, but for picnickers and campers alike.  In addition to the 44-acre, no wake lake, the Park has many tree-shaded areas for the non-fisherman, as well.  A lovely two-mile nature interpretive trail encompasses the lake and is great for hiking, biking, and cross country skiing in the winter. The lake has a roped-off swimming area (swim at your own risk-no lifeguard) and kayaks and canoes are available for rent.  Whether your interest is camping, fishing, hiking, picnicking, or a reunion, you will find Indian Lake Park the perfect setting. The campground is located along the Pecatonica River and Tri-County Recreational Trail.  Ride and enjoy the many sights along the famous Cheese Country ATV Trail and local Darlington ATV Club Trails. Visit Mathys Ace Hardware for your non-resident trail pass, if needed. Launch your canoe and paddle the Pecatonica River or fish & swim along the banks of the river. Take a stroll along the lighted walking path.  Just sit and relax and enjoy the wildlife along the water’s edge! Don’t forget to enjoy shopping and eating in Darlington, or travel a short distance to historic Shullsburg or Mineral Point.  The possibilities are endless!
