Wilder Park offers 88 acres of camping, picnicking, walking, biking, or playtime! We are conveniently located 1/4 mile east of Allison, Iowa on Highway 3. Our amenities include two fishing ponds, a dog park, 18-hole frisbee disc golf, sand volleyball, two playgrounds, picnic shelters, pickle ball court, BMX pump track, large in-ground chess/checkers board, Wilder Mountain, intra-park hard surfaced walking/biking trail connected to Rolling Prairie Trail, 18-acre wildflower prairie, forest, severe storm shelters, two library kiosks, entertainment stage with free summer concerts and on-site camp host.   Occasional Friday night food trucks and Saturday morning coffee truck.

The campground is located along the Pecatonica River and Tri-County Recreational Trail.  Ride and enjoy the many sights along the famous Cheese Country ATV Trail and local Darlington ATV Club Trails. Visit Mathys Ace Hardware for your non-resident trail pass, if needed. Launch your canoe and paddle the Pecatonica River or fish & swim along the banks of the river. Take a stroll along the lighted walking path.  Just sit and relax and enjoy the wildlife along the water’s edge! Don’t forget to enjoy shopping and eating in Darlington, or travel a short distance to historic Shullsburg or Mineral Point.  The possibilities are endless! This campground offers 148 total sites. Recreational facilities include a swimming pool, swimming beach, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, game room, fishing, hayrides, and over 200 acres of beautiful coulees and hiking trails.

New for 2016- New full hook up large pull through and back in sites, most new sites are 80 feet long so you don't even have to unhook your tow vehicle. We have 53 water and electric mostly pull through sites with internet throughout the park. Cabin, park model and camper rentals, 2 public boat launches less than a mile.
