The campground is located along the Pecatonica River and Tri-County Recreational Trail.  Ride and enjoy the many sights along the famous Cheese Country ATV Trail and local Darlington ATV Club Trails. Visit Mathys Ace Hardware for your non-resident trail pass, if needed. Launch your canoe and paddle the Pecatonica River or fish & swim along the banks of the river. Take a stroll along the lighted walking path.  Just sit and relax and enjoy the wildlife along the water’s edge! Don’t forget to enjoy shopping and eating in Darlington, or travel a short distance to historic Shullsburg or Mineral Point.  The possibilities are endless! Free parking for daily trail users is available. Park Includes - 41 Designated Camping Sites: 30 Electrical sites; 9 Full-Hook-Up sites; 2 non-electric sites   8 electrical sites under a grove of walnut trees with 30-amp service   22 electrical sites in the open with 50-amp service; 9 full hook-up sites with 50/30 amp service, water, and sewer - All designated sites include a fire ring and picnic table - Two group fire rings under a grove of walnut trees - Restroom/shower facilities for campers and ATV Trail users - Recreational Vehicle Dump Station - Water for campers at the Dump Station - Playground equipment - Canoe launch - Handicapped fishing pier - Basketball Court   Seasonal Water Systems Water systems (flush toilet building, shower building, drinking fountain and dump station) are weather-dependent. They may not be available from fall through spring (approximately Oct. 1 through May 15). Rolling Oaks Campground is located 7 miles south of Sandwich, Illinois right along the Fox River. The park has been family owned and operated since 1969! The season is open mid-April through mid-October weather dependent.  Rolling Oaks is a fantastic place to visit for the whole family. There is fun for children and adults and the property includes activities such as: playground, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and plenty of special events. During the summer there is music and dancing on Saturday evenings, farmers markets and cart rides. There are also special dinner events like spaghetti supper, corn boil, and pig roast.  The campground has outdoor swimming in the maintained lake. There is a propane exchange station, a dump station available, firewood for sale, and a snack bar with burgers, pizza, and other foods. Nearby Sandwich has shopping, dining, and laundromats available. It features 16 full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly (option of 30 or 50 amp). Many of them are pull through accessible. The park provides limited Wifi, welcomes pets on a leash, and has a sewer hookups at every site.  Campsite amenities offered include picnic tables and fire circles. It also includes basic amenities like restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities. Visitors can also enjoy activities such as biking, hiking, fishing, and wildlife watching. Our little community has 2 banks, grocery store, hardware store, pharmacy, restaurants, NAPA auto, 2 gas stations, including Casey's pizza, Dollar General, and a historical hotel who guests have met a ghost or two. We offer our RVers primitive RV sites so your stay is covered! Feeling a glass of beer? Enjoy a glass of variety of options which include over 6 cold brews 7 seasonal brews, 4 signature can series and 6 barrel aged beers. We invite campers to stay in our spacious parking lot that is right next to a charming bubbling brook. You can spend the day at the brewery tasting beers, eating food in the Brewpub, hanging put in the beer garden complete with Spring waterfall and Koi pond, shopping in the gift shop checking out the Cave where beer is stored, visiting the Great River Road Transportation Museum, and enjoying our National Brewery Museum which has an expansive collection of historical artifacts from the late as the early 1800s and a Research Library!
