The West Fork Madison Campground is located in Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. Campers can look forward a vast, thriving forest filled with fir and pine trees, clear skies, and fresh air. Love to hike? Lose yourself in the beautiful paths and trails at  the park, and hike and bike your way to the tall peaks to truly see some of those panoramic views. Also be sure to pack your fishing gear for world-class trout fishing and your canoe and kayak, or if you're feeling adventurous, your river raft. The Vigilante Middle house is located at the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest and is a quintessential cabin out in the southwest Montana forest. It sits at an elevation of over 6,100 feet between two mountain ranges, and offers plenty of grassy open spaces with great views of the surrounding peaks. Because it's so deep in the forest, keep your eyes open for elk, moose and deer. This campsite is popular because of its proximity to a number of great outdoor activities. Visitors can look forward to hiking, snow shoeing, sledding, skiing and fishing for various types of trout. The area is also known for big game hunting. 

The East Fork Cabin is located in the Bitterroot National Forest at the East Fork of the forest. This means campers can look forward to excellent whitefish and trout fishing at the river, as well as acres upon acres of fir and pine trees to explore; whether you're hiking or mountain biking, this lush, dense forestry is sure to amaze. White you're viewing the wilderness, keep your eyes open for wildlife like mule deer, moose and elk, and be sure to look up at night to enjoy some stellar stargazing. Horseback riding is also popular so take advantage of the trails and paths around this campground. Camping during the winter time? Visitors can expect excellent slopes for sledding, snow shoeing and skiing!

The Alta Campground is located in the scenic wilderness of the Bitterroot National Forest, near the West Form of the Bitterroot River. The yellow-barked ponderosa pine tower over most campsites, and campers can also look forward to an excellent angler and trout fishing opportunity at the riverside. There's also plenty of space by the water for water sports like swimming, kayaking and some boating. While you're at the campsite, keep your eyes open for wildlife like elk, deer and moose, and don't be shy about exploring on foot or bike. There's plenty to see and experience. There's also nearby attractions for campers to enjoy, such as Hughes Creek and natural hot springs just 18 miles from the campground.

The Three Frogs Campground is located in the Bitterroot Recreation Area, and is a popular site for quiet, easy-going group camping. Visitors can expect a good time along the various hiking trails and picnic tables, and also expect great wildlife viewing. While mountain biking, keep your eyes peeled for curious elk, moose or deer, as well as the occasional small creature and bird. Also be sure to look up at night through a clearing in the trees for a view of the gorgeous stars after dusk. 

The Schumaker Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest and sits on the edge of Twin Lakes. Though no motorized water sports are allowed on the lake, campers can look forward to plenty of peace and stillness to go paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing. Campers can also take advantage of the trails for hiking and mountain biking, but are encouraged to keep their eyes open for deer, moose, elk, birds and small creatures. Be sure to rise early or be still at dusk to catch one of those gorgeous red sunrises and sunsets. You won't be disappointed!

The Martin Creek Campground is located in the Bitterroot National Forest near Martin Creek, so campers can expect acres and acres of thriving fir and pine trees as well as pristine waters perfect for trout fishing. Love exploring? Visitors have access to a trail head from this campground that takes them to Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness, or just go mountain biking around the various paths around the creek. Picnicking is also popular at this campground, so if you have a big group, be sure to pack sandwiches and just enjoy the day at one of the picnic areas. 

The Rombo Campground is located in a scenic area along the West Fork of the Bitterroot River, and is surrounded by yellow-bark poinderosa pine. Visitors can look forward to free air, and wide open spaces for hiking, biking and exploring, as well as the nearby river for water activities. This campground is popular for trout fishing at the river, as well as river rafting, boating and some swimming. The Painted Rocks Lake is also relatively close by for even more water fun and gorgeous views of the Montana wilderness. Also be sure to keep your eyes open for wildlife like deer, elk and curious moose, as well as the occasional small creature and bird. The Horse Creek Hot Spring is also nearby for a soak in pure, mineral water!

Visitors can look forward to free air, and wide open spaces for hiking, biking and exploring, as well as the nearby river for water activities. This campground is popular for trout fishing at the river, as well as river rafting, boating and some swimming. The Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest is located close to Georgetown Lake. If you like fishing, you'll absolutely love this lake.
