We are located 1/2 mile from Historic Virginia City and Nevada City. World class fly fishing is just 15 minutes away and we are in the middle of some of the best hiking, biking, and UTV/ATV trails. Yellowstone is a short 90 minute drive away and Bozeman is 60 minutes. Before you ask, YES, we have Moose occasionally rambling through the campground in addition to all other types of wildlife found in Montana. The Anglers Roost Campground is located in Hamilton, and its central location is perfect to immerse campers into a number of historic and cultural sites. Visitors can look forward to museums, ghost towns and the Indian Battlefield. Campers normally visit Anglers Roost for the gorgeous terrain and beautifully, carved geological features. Check out the rocks, mini-waterfalls and creeks, and be sure to cast a line in one of the nearby bodies of water for some excellent fishing. Boating, rafting, canoeing and kayaking are also very popular at this campsite, as is hiking the Lewis and Clark Trail.
