I will say this a very pretty park. Very nice place. But the experiance I had with the person checking in campers. Is not good. I was actually helping a customer of mine. With his trucks transmission over heating. An for the safety of every I pulled in to the rv park to let the transmission cool off. We had talked to one guy there. An was super nice. Let my customer use the rest room as office was closed. Was test driving the truck once again to see if transmission was working like it should. An all was good with. So I pulled back into park to turn around an did have a fifthwheel on truck both times. An guessing either owner or manager was very rude when we stopped as my customer from out of state needed to use the rest room. Telling me "the nerve" I had to stop there an use them as a turn around an rest room stop. I understand they are not a rest area. An then told us to not ever bring that trailer back in that park again. I must have been in the wrong in some peoples eyes. What happen to common courtesy. Anyway rant over. I will never set foot at this park again. As I am a fellow RVer also. That man imho gave the name "Texas Star" a bad name

This is a very serene and relaxing place to stay. I really enjoyed the staff, they were so funny, friendly and very accommodating with all of our needs. The sites were rather spacious and there were all kinds for any kind of camping! The facilities were really nice and always clean. The amenities were just the basics but that’s mainly what we needed for camping. The activities were a lot of fun and really relaxing for the entire family. The location was really great as there were a lot of things just a short drive away. Overall we had a really nice time here and I cannot wait to make another trip out here soon. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

This is a well laid out park with nice facilities. Problem is they don't maintain but the front half close to office and pool area. Wifi non-existant where we were located. Management making effort to clean up the park, which is mostly permanent residents. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

I have lived at this park since May and I have to say it's gone from ok to GREAT!!! Normally change is unsettling and nerve racking but these new owners (managers) are a blessing. My yard is mowed, the pool is kept clean and kept crystal clear, the trees are properly trimmed, the roads are kept maintained and clear of debris. Just this last week we lost water to the park and the father-son team made sure to do everything they could to get the water back on and a hour later we had water again! One of the workers actually came to my aide when I thought I found a nest of snake eggs! Silly me they were chicken eggs someone must of dropped outside:) still he was there in a flash to help. I love the Texas Star RV Resort I recommend it for anyone needing to relax the pool, blue bonnet hall, clean facilities, nice neighbors, and a great and helpful staff. Check it out yall!! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

My family and I are very familiar with RV parks. We travel a lot as retired folk and stay for a couple of months at a time in certain areas. We are from Missouri and heard Mineral Wells and the surrounding areas were a beautiful part of Texas (they are). So we stopped here. About two weeks after stopping here, our grand children came to visit and wished to use the pool area (which is very nice by the way). When we took the little ones out there, a young man and his girlfriend were out at the pool smoking weed, drinking beer, and listening to loud music. We asked them very politely to please put out the drugs and turn down the music so our children could enjoy the pool just for an hour. This is when we were told by the young man "we were here first and if you have a problem with it, I'm sure we can solve it behind the lot over there." We were mortified. We have never been treated with such blatant disrespect. When we told the manager about it, we learned that the man was her son and his girlfriend. And instead of fixing the situation, we were told that the pool was only available to residents and that our grand children weren't residents there so they could not swim.

This is campground is not ok. We were on the road, looking for a place to stop and came here. There was a middle-aged blonde woman working the front who was very confrontational and rude. Additionally, a younger gentleman who appeared to be related to her with blonde hair also was extremely rude and cursing out loud in the office. When he walked past me, he bumped into my child who fell onto the ground. And he looked at us and said "move your children out of the way and they won't get knocked over." The middle aged manager lady said nothing but looked at us as if she agreed with that statement. We promptly left and will never return to such a disrespectful owner again.

This facility was great! The campgrounds were clean and very well kept. I wish I could have taken a swim in the beautiful clean pool (forgot my bathing suit)! I really appreciated the way the staff treated me and welcomed me to the park; they truly treat you like you are apart of the family while you're there. I saw an older gentlemen mowing and weed-eating and man does he do a good job keeping the grassy areas nice and trimmed. I will go back for years to come as long as the management and the staff continues to strive for perfection when we visit. Thanks yall !
