The Texas Star RV Ranch is located in the beautiful town of Melissa, Texas and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. Campers can expect a number of great attractions just beyond the park, including: Historic Downtown McKinney, Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary, McKinney Segway Tours and the Play Street Museum. There's also the Van Alstyne Historical Museum, Crape Myrtle Trails of McKinney, Storybook Ranch for horseback riding and plenty of opportunities for fishing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding adventures. Small. Hard to find. (We arrived at 10 pm in the dark due to maintenance issues). The quiet made it totally worth it. Management was very helpful. Clean level concrete pull thru sites with 50 amp service, water, sewer, patio. Not much in the way of amenities. No restrooms. I got the feeling we were out on the middle of nowhere but civilization was only 2 miles down the road with a big gas station convenience store about a 1/4 mile away. All in all i never write reviews but the reviews i read about this place don't do it justice. Not sure i've ever stayed with better people!

This park is not good at all zero amenities no Wi-Fi very deceptive owners it's basically a field with a bunch of discarded all trailers just really nasty don't stay here and they rip people off they charge $700 a month to stay

What a gem! This place was really nice for a really great price! The staff was not only very helpful and friendly they really made sure we got everything we needed. There were a ton of great sites to choose from that would accommodate any style of camping. We got a lot of use out of the many amenities they offered and loved the activities as well. We found them very relaxing and it really helped make our visit special. The location was beautiful as there was a ton of stunning views all throughout the park and in the surrounding area.
