Overview
Kyllonen RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Anchor Point, Alaska and is a great spot for a fun and relaxing vacation. Campers can look forward to a number of great attractions just beyond the campground including the Anchor River State Recreation Area for site seeing, hiking, biking, sunset viewing and stargazing, Alaska Draft Horse sightseeing tours and the Anchor River, attracting king salmon anglers every year. Travelers can also enjoy incredible birding, wildlife and scenic viewing, marine tours and kayaking, and of course, there's a long list of excellent local eateries and pubs to enjoy. Shame on me for booking a site here. There's no cable, laundry, etc. All of the amenities one might look for are not here. The self-serve dumpster gets emptied once a week and smelled like something had died in it. It appears to me that they are slowly converting the RV section to manufactured housing (think double-wides). The guy mowing the weeds actually hit my trailer with the mower... twice. And if you're looking for the manager, sit on the porch and wait. She'll be in when she wants to.

If you are on the road and need a spot for the night or completely self contained then it will be fine. Location is great for access to highways and the interstate. No facilities or amenities.

Not a bad place, hookups nicely located, nice overall location, everything convenient. Kind of an older space but nice for a night or 2. Great cell and TV reception.
