Rolling Oaks Campground is located 7 miles south of Sandwich, Illinois right along the Fox River. The park has been family owned and operated since 1969! The season is open mid-April through mid-October weather dependent.  Rolling Oaks is a fantastic place to visit for the whole family. There is fun for children and adults and the property includes activities such as: playground, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and plenty of special events. During the summer there is music and dancing on Saturday evenings, farmers markets and cart rides. There are also special dinner events like spaghetti supper, corn boil, and pig roast.  The campground has outdoor swimming in the maintained lake. There is a propane exchange station, a dump station available, firewood for sale, and a snack bar with burgers, pizza, and other foods. Nearby Sandwich has shopping, dining, and laundromats available. Winding River Campground is a small 25 acre centrally located quiet campground, nestled under a beautiful canopy of trees with a spring fed pond with the Little Yellow River bordering the campground. The campground offers overnight and weekly (RVs and tenting), monthly and seasonal sites (RVs). the sites have with 30 amp (20 amp for tenters) and water. 300 gallon holding tanks for seasonal sites for septic. Winding River is a perfect campground for families with children of all ages as well as those that are looking for a quiet location to be out in nature, with hiking, fishing, and water sports lakes nearby.
