Nestled in the foothills of the NC Mountains, Roaring River Vineyards is reminiscent of a French riverside hillside vineyard. The vineyard is named after the Roaring River which borders the vineyard property for a mile and a half and offers great vistas from all the buildings situated on its riverbank. The RV Campsite at Roaring River Vineyards (RRV) is located in a forested area surrounded by springs and walking trails and has a lovely view of the vineyards. It is situated not far from the vineyard’s entrance just beyond a pond. Since we opened our restaurant we’ve had a number of guests asking us if we allowed RVs to park on our vineyard. As a result, we developed the RV Park at Roaring River Vineyards. We feature: 2. 10 RV sites of various lengths 4. Gravel roads and large gravel parking sites, a large turn-around area, 6. Lake Sugar Tree Motorsports is a family sports park for motorcycle riding and racing which is located in Henry County off of HWY. 58 East on State Route 617 Axton, Virginia - Between Martinsville and Danville. The Motocross track has been around for over 30 years, it all started with a few local racers from the Trans Am Series who came to Lake Sugar Tree in the beginning of the 70’s bringing top European rider’s to compete against the top American rider’s. A couple of years later the AMA (American Motorcycle Association) came on board with it’s series, which provide more American verses Europe “best of the best” racing.
