Located at the Haysi Ridgeview Trailhead, Mountain Top Campground is a hiker's paradise, offering access to approximately 200 miles of trails. The area also features an ATV trail also accommodates horse trails, hikers, bicyclists, and motorcycles. Operated by the Haysi Kiwanis, Mountain Top Campground offers 18 brand-new full hook up RV sites and 18 primitive tent sites along with shower and restroom facilities to accommodate the primitive sites. Come join us with your tiny house on 10 acres of beautiful mountain views on the Cherokee National Forest. We are a year-round, full time living, community with a salt water pool, onsite laundry facility and a catch and release fish pond. We also offer shower and bath facilities along with primitive camping, so if your company can’t fit in your tiny house, they can come visit anyway! Tell them to pack a tent! We also welcome artists and performers for community entertainment at the pavilion. We are 5 minutes from one of the most desirable waterfalls in the Greenville area, Margarette Falls. We are 15 minutes from Tusculum college, shopping, groceries and restaurants in Greenville, TN. We are also 45 minutes from Johnson City and one hour from Sevierville and Pigeon Forge area. Sherry has owned Old Mountain Campground since 2008, which she built with her late husband.
