The campground’s secluded vibe, with minimal neighboring properties, offers tranquility, yet it’s only 2 miles off I-15 (Exit 202, then east on Old Yuba Dam Road and left on Old Botham Road; use coordinates 39.407914, -112.013000 for the entrance gate). Expect soft sand and open beach camping with designated sites. Four-wheel drive is recommended due to deep sand in some areas. Pets are welcome (off-leash friendly), and the open range is great for activities like kite flying or drone use. Star-gazing, breathtaking sunrises, and sunsets enhance the experience.
