After many years of experience hosting contract employees working at Formosa Plastics and many other nearby employers, we understand the stresses that come with finding a new home away from home for several weeks or months.   Great grandson of Frank E. Gillen and grandson of Tillie and Frank R. Gille, Steve W. Gillen has continued the generational family business with a twist. We offer primitive RV sites for our RVers! Gillen's Candies, which was once chocolates, has expanded its products to also include wines, jerky, craft beer and other artisan products! Come on over, spend a couple nights, or weeks, and enjoy some beer and jerky!  

Located in Rockport, Texas, Wilderness Oak RV Resort offers big rig, pull thru full 30/50 amp sites along with a swimming pool and clubhouse for all guest to enjoy. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy fishing, boating, beaches, photography, hiking and biking. Given our convenient location, visitors can adventure and explore nearby attractions that include Mustang Island State Park, Padre Island Nat'l Seashore, Live Oak Country Club and the USS Lexington Museum. On site activities include a fitness center, bingo & card games, horseshoe pits, immaculate restroom and showers, large, clean laundry facilities and kitchen facilities. Located in George West, Texas, Manning RV Park/Cabins offers full 20/50 amp sites with select sites featuring an awning, picnic table, BBQ pit and cement slab. WiFi is available for RV sites only along with laundry facilities, mail services and semi-truck parking. Our park also offers fully furnished 1-2 bedroom cabins (only available for monthly stays) to our guests that can sleep up to 4 people! Given our convenient location, we are located close to popular fishing spots located in Choke Canyon Reservoir, Lake Corpus Christi and the Nueces River. Our convenient location allows one to drive 5 minutes down the road to the San Marcos River, 20 minutes from the outlet mall and only 45 minutes away from Austin and San Antonio! There's lot of fun! Located in the beautiful town of Cedar Creek, Texas, Great Escapees Austin Oaks is a great spot for an authentic, quiet Texas vacation. Coastal Bay RV Park is a large 40 acre park with extra wide RV spaces capable of handling any size RV. We are located just a few miles outside of Port Lavaca, Texas, a few blocks from the from the waterfront in a small community called Port Alto. We are the perfect RV park for those working away from home and love the peace and quiet of country living. At Coastal Bay, we just don't sweat the small stuff... We want our residents to to feel home and relax around one of our many ponds. We have all the basic amenities, such as, free WiFi, free ice, a large laundry facility, clean showers and restrooms, and a large covered pavilion for just hanging out with friends and family. Now, we are a work in progress since we are a fairly new park, constructed just a couple of years ago. Our plans for 2023-2024 is to complete the construction of covered picnic tables at each RV site, construct six fully covered RV pads, construct a covered outdoor kitchen and bar-b-que area, and launch a full-time on-site food truck.

The Bar M RV Park is located near the gorgeous Texas city of San Antonio, and is the perfect place for a relaxing yet adventurous outdoor escape. Whether you enjoy beautiful natural escapes or historic sites and craft foods, this campground takes you close to the San Antonio excitement.    Amenities and Activities RVers can expect excellent activities near the campground. Some traveler favorites include: cave exploring, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, golfing, canoeing and kayaking. The Lighthouse RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Bay City and is a great place for a fun yet easy-going Texas vacation. Campers can look forward to nearby attractions like the Matagorda County Museum, Le Tulle Park and the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail for excellent bird watching, hiking, and scenic viewing. The Matagorda bay Nature Trail is another excellent spot for nature enthusiasts.   Campers can also head to Sargent Shores for a fun day by the water, with plenty of sand and water for boating, fishing, and swimming. If Sargent Shores is crowded, there's always the Colorado River, perfect for fishing, kayaking and river rafting. And of course, the area has excellent shops and restaurants for visitors to same local crafts and cuisine, and even a market day on the third Saturday of each month.
