This means a central location less than one hour’s drive from our closer metro neighbors Waco, Austin, and College Station, TX.Our park spans five and half acres, including a placid duck pond with three ducks and bass that visitors can catch and release! Deer often cross the park in the morning and at night. Two cranes, one white, and one gray, visit the pond regularly.Make Cosmic Duck RV Park your new home. We have pull through sites to support large class A motorhomes with a tow behind vehicle and also smaller back in spaces for truck campers and trailers. Krause Springs is a well known swimming hole and camping area located in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas. The 115 acre property is listed on the National Registry of Historical Sites and has been privately owned by the Krause Family for over 50 years. The property has many natural sites to explore -- 32 springs feed a manmade pool as well as a natural pool featuring a waterfall and underwater caves. Guests are welcome to explore many walking trails, shady picnic areas, fishing spots and take a stroll through the Butterfly Gardens. Be sure to make time to relax or take a nap while listening to the music of the wind chimes and the fountains. There are many designated areas to primitive camp surrounded by nature as well as 24 RV sites with water and electricity (20/30/50 amp) available. Carved out of the east Texas tall pine is our park, shaded under 80’ to 90’ tall pines, backed up to a large pond with camping sites and gorgeous pasture views on the east side is our park. We have really nice restrooms (men and women) and do have laundry on site. Also we have one large cabin that is available to rent for larger groups and can sleep up to 8 (comes with upper level loft). Just outside of the cabin/laundry is a nice shaded sitting area. Pecan Grove RV Park as the name suggests is surrounded by gorgeous pecan trees, and is a well-loved spot among campers for being centrally located in Austin, Texas. Mobile transportation isn't necessary when visiting Pecan Grove RV Park, since the Zach Theater, Zilker Park, Town Lake, The Alamo Drafthouse and dozens of other attractions are within walking and biking distance. Management is responsive and pleasant, and even though the park is near so many downtown Austin attractions, the campsite is known for being quiet and peaceful. Many visitors camp here for months at a time, so be sure to make reservations early. There's  pecan trees to provide shade for shore-side picnicking and swimming, and there's also plenty of space on the water for kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing. Now open is our café serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just beyond the campground is a number of other attractions including: Pioneer Village, the Pearce Museum, Angelita Vineyard and Winery, Navarro Mills Lake, Canterbury Court Antiques, Corsicana Field Aviation Heritage Foundation Museum and fishing charters and tours.
