The large "Gathering Place" community building has a coin-operated laundromat, tile showers, restrooms, and large tv's with DirecTV service. The Galveston Bay RV Resort is located in the beautiful town of Baytown and is a great spot of an authentic Texas vacation. Campers can look forward to a number of nearby water-related activities at places like the gorgeous pond at the Bay Town Nature Center, Pirates Bay Waterpark, and there's also quiet a few public parks like the Roseland, Allenbrooks and Jenkins Parks. The Baytown Historical Museum is a camper favorite, as is Goose Creek Park. There's also the Evergreen Public Golf Course, Baytown Public Marina, Coushatta Casino and the Gulf Greyhound Dog Track. There's also a long list of excellent restaurants and picnic areas, and many out-of-town travelers are sure to pause at dusk with a small snack to enjoy the sunset and stargazing.  The San Jacinto Monument (tallest in the USA) & Battleship Texas, were about a half hour away.
