The Live Oak Ridge Park is located at the breathtaking Belton Lake, and is a nature-lover's paradise. Campers can look forward to excellent scenic viewing, large oak trees, fresh air and plenty of shares. The campsites are flat and grassy with an abundance of wildflowers. Travelers can enjoy birding, so when you visit, keep your eyes open for great blue herons, hawks, bobwhite quail, geese, ducks and Rio Grande turkey. There's also plenty of open water space for boating, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. There's also a number of excellent nearby attractions such as Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Miller Spring Park, Dana Peak Park and the Miller Spring Nature Center. Apart from these spectacular natural attractions, there's great historic sites like the Twelve Oaks Historic Mansion, Bell County Museum, Robertson Plantation and there's also activities like the Salado Winery and Summer Fun Water Park. Parrie Haynes Ranch Equestrian Center is settled along the Lampasas River on about 1600 acres of Hill Country terrain. West Fort Hood borders our northern side. The acreage is teeming with natural wildlife and native plants with trails that wind through rolling native prairies, pastures, cedar/oak trees, and crystal clear streams. The Priddy Cabin was built here in 1859. Other homes were scattered across the ranch and have only foundations remaining. Please be careful and respect our heritage. Visit the Parrie Haynes Ranch Museum in the Clubhouse (not big but a labor of love for our history). Families welcome! A full service campground located in Central Texas. The main camp is about 24 acres out of 1600.  Currently, there are 40 complete sites with 30 & 50 amp electricity, water, and pens at individual sites! We have 86 pens and a few corrals. There is a half size arena, round pen, and a fun obstacle course for you and your equine to enjoy. The footing is a combination of sand, caleche, and rock.  My mule is not shod but if your animal is not used to this terrain, I would advise shoes or boots. Keeping Texas Trails open for Equestrians, Hikers, Trail-Runners, and Mountain Bikers.

We are conveniently located away from traffic noise off State Highway 77 in Milam County—near the junction with State Highway 79 and just a few miles north of the small town of Rockdale, TX. We are “in the heart of the Texas Triangle” between San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas with easy access to Interstate 10, Interstate 35, and Interstate 45. This means a central location less than one hour’s drive from our closer metro neighbors Waco, Austin, and College Station, TX. Our park spans five and half acres, including a placid duck pond with three ducks and bass that visitors can catch and release! Deer often cross the Park in the morning and at night. Two cranes, one white, and one gray, visit the pond regularly. Make Cosmic Duck RV Park your new home. Gallagher Acres RV Park in Fort Worth, TX is your perfect North-Central Texas RV camping destination! We’re surrounded by all of the excitement that Fort Worth can offer. Our long-term, adults-only park is open all year round and makes an ideal base for a wide assortment of area activities. We offer a variety of campsites, including sites that can accommodate rigs up to 45′ long. We have a few sites available that will accommodate large rigs, but reserve early as these sites fill up quickly!
