Brazos River Retreat, located just 25 miles from downtown Houston and 20 miles from the Medical Center, is a hidden little honey hole. Most campers are convinced they are lost on the way here because you come through a beautiful neighborhood of mansions and multimillion dollar homes. The park is in a secluded area where the park owners chose to keep the peace and tranquility of the natural area. This is not your typical park location. It is built in the middle of some of the most expensive properties in the suburb of Houston called Sugar Land. Once you are on the wooded property, you would believe you are miles away from civilization. However, our park’s neighborhood has two Starbucks, a “Signature Kroger” grocery store, multiple local restaurants, major bank branches, spas, Target, Walmart, etc. Our park features back in, pull thru, full 20/30/50 amp water and sewer sites. Some amenities include trash services, bbq/grill, picnic tables and beautiful waterfront views to list a few. Outdoor activities include backpacking, fishing, hiking, kayaking and canoeing to list a few.  Again, this is not like the other RV parks in the area built with lots of concrete, no trees next to a highway.  We enjoy the secluded outdoors and the amenities of the higher end neighborhood. Open year-round, Yanawana Camp is a 2.4 acre RV Park consisting of 4 back-in sites with full hook-ups (20-30-50 amp, water and sewer). Currently, NO restrooms, showers, laundry are available. Please make sure your RV is fully equipped with your amenities. Now accepting up to 40 ft RVs! We can say all we like about our Camp but the only opinion that really matters is our guests. The Oasis RV Park provides small town living within close proximity to larger cities. We were established in 2014 and have become an important part of this community. Under new ownership and management in 2024, the park has already seen a lot of positive changes and improvements. Some of these improvements include a new privacy fence, entry sign, landscape enhancements, security system and lighting, and a new office houses onsite laundry.

We are only 1 mile northwest of the Gulf of Mexico, east of Matagorda Bay, and near the Intracoastal Waterway. Affordable rates...a great place to stay! For the fisherman, great fishing for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Blue Crab and shrimp await you in nearby Matagorda Bay. We are just minutes away from local shopping making it handy to pick up supplies for camping, fishing, or trip to the beach. Sargent Beach is a popular attraction and is located nearby where visitors to the Beach can enjoy shelling, swimming, surfing, surf fishing, beachcombing, or just relaxing while enjoying a great view of the Gulf of Mexico.
