Rockin' K RV part and Horse Motel is a beautiful RV park with gravel parking spot/sites and 11 foot wide grass area between each RV hook up.  With Wifi, water, septic, and 30/50 hook up electric included it is an incredible deal! Lake Sweetwater Municipal Park is a big rig and pet friendly campground located on 2125 FM Road 1856 in Sweetwater, TX. The site includes water, sewer, electricity.

With our huge Riverfront access to the South Llano River, nature is blended smoothly with the RV Park’s infrastructure. Keeping in mind the newer RV Buses, the RV sites are wide, straight, and long enough to accommodate any size Rig. We also have a beautiful tenting area with shared water and electric and 9 cabins with three levels of amenities to suit anyone’s needs. Oakdale Park, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, has been providing recreational opportunities for families since 1925.  We offer cabins, RV & tent sites, meeting rooms, a playground, picnic sites, recreational equipment, an outdoor stage, paved lanes for the kids and their bikes, a very large, 330,000 gallon swimming pool, a coin laundry, and campground store all for your family's benefit and enjoyment.  Beginning with a CASI Chili Cook Off and IBCA BBQ Cookoff, from February through December there's almost always something happening.  Since 1972, Oakdale has been home to a Spring and and Fall Bluegrass Jamboree (1st Saturday in April and 1st Saturday in October, respectively); since 1982, it has been home to the Lone Star State Dulcimer Festival (Mother's Day weekend); and, since 1987, it has been home to a Fall Woodcarving Show and Rally.  For several years the Paluxy River Bluegrass Association has been hosting 3rd Saturday jam sessions and free stage shows at Oakdale as well.  Many families have been coming here for their reunions for decades.  And, many RV clubs regularly hold rallies here.  As you can see, during our first 100 years, many traditions have sprung up and taken hold.  We're located across the street from the Paluxy River, where you'll find the City of Glen Rose's free Big Rocks Park and River Walk. Next to the Big Rocks is a small dam, a miniature golf course, and a snow cone shack.  Combine those "backyard" attractions with Fossil Rim, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Dinosaur World, the Creation Evidence Museum, The Promise, Barnard's Mill Museum, historic downtown Glen Rose, Squaw Creek Golf Course, and canoeing and tubing at the nearby Brazos River crossing, and there's plenty to keep our guests, both young and old, entertained.Whether it be a weekend retreat, family reunion, RV rally, or special event, make plans to stay at Oakdale Park and start your own tradition!

Shady Oaks Riverside TV Retreat is located at Buchanan Dam and is a great place for an outdoor vacation. The dam is one of the few lakes that has sandy beaches and a sandy bottom for great swimming, and that's why thousands flock there year after year to vacation. Campers can look forward to hours spent lounging on the shores, jet skiing, swimming, and boating, or enjoy a number of great attractions just beyond the campground. Just a short drive away are sites like the Black Rock Park, Longhorn Caverns State Park, Vanishing Texas River tours and the Inks Lake State Park. Travelers can also enjoy the nearby Reveille peak Ranch, Sweet Berry Farm as well as a plethora of great, local eateries for meals after long days by the water.
