Taking Exit 328 on I35 and a quick hop 1.7 miles East of the interstate on Greig Drive, we are the perfect mid-way point for travelers between Dallas and Austin as well as Snow Birds or Winter Texans as we like to call y'all! We are are a little slice of Texas Heaven with all the amenities of the city just a couple miles away. Are you a fan of HGTV's "Fixer Upper" with Chip and Joanna Gaines? Swing by their store, Magnolia Market at the Silos in Downtown Waco. This must-see tourist attraction is located less than 10 miles from our park along with many other fabulous gems our community has to offer. Built this park with the thought in mind of making sure everyone who comes through our beautiful park feels at home and welcome. With our huge Riverfront access to the South Llano River, nature is blended smoothly with the RV Park’s infrastructure. Keeping in mind the newer RV Buses, the RV sites are wide, straight, and long enough to accommodate any size Rig. We also have a beautiful tenting area with shared water and electric and 9 cabins with three levels of amenities to suit anyone’s needs. Bring your canoes, tubes, kayaks, boats, or fishing gear and have wonderful time. If you need a rental, we can offer a place to rent them from as well.

Oakdale Park, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, has been providing recreational opportunities for families since 1925.  We offer cabins, RV & tent sites, meeting rooms, a playground, picnic sites, recreational equipment, an outdoor stage, paved lanes for the kids and their bikes, a very large, 330,000 gallon swimming pool, a coin laundry, and campground store all for your family's benefit and enjoyment.  Beginning with a CASI Chili Cook Off and IBCA BBQ Cookoff, from February through December there's almost always something happening.  Since 1972, Oakdale has been home to a Spring and and Fall Bluegrass Jamboree (1st Saturday in April and 1st Saturday in October, respectively); since 1982, it has been home to the Lone Star State Dulcimer Festival (Mother's Day weekend); and, since 1987, it has been home to a Fall Woodcarving Show and Rally.  For several years the Paluxy River Bluegrass Association has been hosting 3rd Saturday jam sessions and free stage shows at Oakdale as well.  Many families have been coming here for their reunions for decades.  And, many RV clubs regularly hold rallies here.  As you can see, during our first 100 years, many traditions have sprung up and taken hold.  We're located across the street from the Paluxy River, where you'll find the City of Glen Rose's free Big Rocks Park and River Walk. Next to the Big Rocks is a small dam, a miniature golf course, and a snow cone shack.  Combine those "backyard" attractions with Fossil Rim, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Dinosaur World, the Creation Evidence Museum, The Promise, Barnard's Mill Museum, historic downtown Glen Rose, Squaw Creek Golf Course, and canoeing and tubing at the nearby Brazos River crossing, and there's plenty to keep our guests, both young and old, entertained.
