Located 4 miles North of Hwy 290 in Hempstead, Texas, Lost Oaks RV Park offers a quiet country atmosphere, while only minutes from the Houston area, as well as College Station. We offer pull-thru and back-in spaces with daily, weekly or monthly rates. The large "Gathering Place" community building has a coin-operated laundromat, tile showers, restrooms, and large tv's with DirecTV service. The park has been completely renovated, so each space has a level, rocky surface with 30 and 50 amp service, water & sewer connections.

Campers can also look forward to attractions within driving distance of the park, including the Longhorn Caverns State Park, Inks Lake State Park and Canyon of the Eagles Nature Park. Among these locations, there's plenty of space for hiking, biking, picnicking, sunset viewing and stargazing. Lake Buchanan is one of the few lakes that has sandy beaches and a sandy bottom for great swimming, and that's why thousands flock there year after year while vacationing at this campground. Campers can look forward to hours spent lounging on the shores, jet skiing, swimming, and boating, or enjoy a number of great attractions just beyond the campground.
