The Hords Creek Lake is located in the beautiful town of Coleman, Texas and is a great place for a quiet, cozy vacation. The lake and campground are rimmed by thick pockets of tall oak trees, and is the perfect spot for exploring and soaking in nature. Campers can enjoy hiking, biking, scenic viewing and fishing for crappie, blue catfish, flathead catfish, bluegill and a number of other species of fish. Parrie Haynes Ranch Equestrian Center is settled along the Lampasas River on about 1600 acres of Hill Country terrain. West Fort Hood borders our northern side. The acreage is teeming with natural wildlife and native plants with trails that wind through rolling native prairies, pastures, cedar/oak trees, and crystal clear streams. The Priddy Cabin was built here in 1859. Other homes were scattered across the ranch and have only foundations remaining. Please be careful and respect our heritage. Visit the Parrie Haynes Ranch Museum in the Clubhouse (not big but a labor of love for our history). Families welcome! A full service campground located in Central Texas. The main camp is about 24 acres out of 1600.  Currently, there are 40 complete sites with 30 & 50 amp electricity, water, and pens at individual sites! We have 86 pens and a few corrals. There is a half size arena, round pen, and a fun obstacle course for you and your equine to enjoy. The footing is a combination of sand, caleche, and rock.  My mule is not shod but if your animal is not used to this terrain, I would advise shoes or boots. Keeping Texas Trails open for Equestrians, Hikers, Trail-Runners, and Mountain Bikers.

Krause Springs is a well known swimming hole and camping area located in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas. The 115 acre property is listed on the National Registry of Historical Sites and has been privately owned by the Krause Family for over 50 years. The property has many natural sites to explore -- 32 springs feed a manmade pool as well as a natural pool featuring a waterfall and underwater caves. Guests are welcome to explore many walking trails, shady picnic areas, fishing spots and take a stroll through the Butterfly Gardens. Be sure to make time to relax or take a nap while listening to the music of the wind chimes and the fountains. There are many designated areas to primitive camp surrounded by nature as well as 24 RV sites with water and electricity (20/30/50 amp) available. Granite Rock RV Park is located in Kingsland, Texas. Our address is 1015 David Street. We also have Noble RV Park. Together we have 28 RV sites. They feature pull thru, back in, 30/50 amp electrical, sewer and water hookups and internet. We are in a great location in a quiet area of town minutes away from the lake, shopping, many attractions, restaurants, and so much more. We offer a great clubhouse with a dining area, living area with a TV to enjoy, full size kitchen ready to use, laundry room and a shower/bathroom. We have a pool table for your use. We have a large BBQ pavilion with 4 tables for your use also. We have a lot of trees planted and more to come to provide more shade. We know how the hot Texas weather can be.  THE NOBLE CABINS AND LAKE HOUSE are located at 200 Noble Street in Kingsland. They are located on Lake LBJ. We have six 1 bedroom cabins and then a 2 bedroom with loft lake house. There is 2 docks to swim, fish, or just to relax on. One of the docks has underwater fishing lights too. Come out and sit on the docks for your morning sunrise! The cabins are some of the last old fishing camps from the 1950's that have been remodeled. They are very up to date and come fully furnished. Very spacious and comfortable for a nice relaxing stay. The house is very spacious. So much room to spread out and not be cramped up. Large patio with a table and chairs, gas BBQ grill, very nice large round fire pit, boat ramp if you bring your boat, and fully equipped kitchen.  Book your vacations now before we get booked up!
