At the family-owned and operated Cosmic Duck RV Park, we're proud to offer a quiet, clean, and secluded spot for long term stays, travelers, and modern day nomads to relax and call home. Our park provides friendly country livin’ with big city access. We are conveniently located away from traffic noise off State Highway 77 in Milam County—near the junction with State Highway 79 and just a few miles north of the small town of Rockdale, TX. We are “in the heart of the Texas Triangle” between San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas with easy access to Interstate 10, Interstate 35, and Interstate 45. This means a central location less than one hour’s drive from our closer metro neighbors Waco, Austin, and College Station, TX. Our park spans five and half acres, including a placid duck pond with three ducks and bass that visitors can catch and release! Deer often cross the Park in the morning and at night. Two cranes, one white, and one gray, visit the pond regularly. Make Cosmic Duck RV Park your new home. The Woodland Lakes RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Conroe and is a great spot for an authentic southern adventure. Historic downtown Conroe is a great place for exploring and soaking in local art, the Sam Houston National Forest is great for scenic viewing and the Southern Star Brewing Company are camper favorites. Campers can also look forward to a number of nearby attractions such as the W G Jones State Forest which is popular for its hiking trails and 2 small lakes for fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking. Every site offers full hookups with 30 and 50 amp, free cable and WiFi and patio with sitting. The Texas State Railroad Campground is located 3 miles west of the beautiful East Texas town of Rusk and is a great spot for a fun southern escape! We offer campsites with water only, water and electricity or full hookups with 30/50-amp service and sewer. The Grounds offer picnic tables, fire rings, and WiFi! There are separate showers and restrooms onsite, a nature trail and a campground office complete with a gift shop and firewood for purchase. The 15-acre Cherokee Lake is where fishermen will find a variety of fish including crappie, catfish, striped bass, sauger, walleye, smallmouth bass, bluegill and largemouth bass. Whether they are casting, spinning or flying fish, chances of getting a bite are good! Onsite, travelers may look forward to historic sightseeing. For the history buff, there's plenty of other historic sites, a number of green spaces of nature walks and scenic viewing and of course, visitors may expect great local eateries and bars to enjoy. Carved out of the east Texas tall pine is our park, shaded under 80’ to 90’ tall pines, backed up to a large pond with camping sites and gorgeous pasture views on the east side is our park. We have really nice restrooms (men and women) and do have laundry on site. Also we have one large cabin that is available to rent for larger groups and can sleep up to 8 (comes with upper level loft). Just outside of the cabin/laundry is a nice shaded sitting area. The Sunset Cove Marina is located in the beautiful town of Corsicana, Texas and is a great spot for an authentic outdoor adventure. Campers can look forward to a number of activities along the Richland Chambers Lake; travelers can enjoy excellent fishing and boating, as well as sunset and scenic viewing along the lake. There's  pecan trees to provide shade for shore-side picnicking and swimming, and there's also plenty of space on the water for kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing. Now open is our café serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just beyond the campground is a number of other attractions including: Pioneer Village, the Pearce Museum, Angelita Vineyard and Winery, Navarro Mills Lake, Canterbury Court Antiques, Corsicana Field Aviation Heritage Foundation Museum and fishing charters and tours. The area is also filled with excellent historic sites and great, local eateries.
