The dogwoods are beautiful the last week or so of March, usually around the 25th. Just beyond the campground, travelers can look forward to a number of local attractions, such as the Mission Tejas State Park, Grapeland Safari and Salmon Lake for excellent fishing, boating, paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking.
