Located 10 mins outside Kerrville and 40 mins from Fredericksburg we are in the heart of the hill country. Close to everything and next to no one. The Castroville Regional Park is located in the beautiful town of Castroville and is a great place for an authentic southern vacation. Onsite, travelers may expect tons of group fun at the tennis court, playground, basketball court, sand volleyball court and plenty of fishing, canoeing, kayaking and boating on the nearby Medina River. Campers may look forward to a number of local attractions such as golf at the Alsatian Golf Club, Castroville Historic Walking Tour, Castroville Regional Park and the St. Louis Catholic Church. Other visitor favorites include the Vine on the Rocks Winery, Shooting Star Museum and Paradise Canyon which is perfect for hiking, biking, climbing, swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking with plenty of great local eateries and historic sites to enjoy. Whether you want to visit the Magnolia Silos, Baylor University, or just enjoy a relaxed country setting, Waco RV Park is the place to stay. If you like large, beautiful trees and wide-open green space, you will love Waco RV Park. Cradled in its own pocket of undisturbed Texas landscape, with Shaw Creek circling its border, it offers the rare combination of country and convenience. We are a casual, inviting slice of nature all with full hookups for both 30 and 50 amps. We are a small family-owned park. We host daily, short-term and longer-term campers. We are not fancy and don’t have some of the amenities that the big parks have, but if you want to enjoy your time here, you will. If you want a place to stay where you can view the Texas stars that shine so bright, this is the place!  From here it is only 8.8 miles and 13 minutes to the Magnolia Silos and downtown Waco; 7.3 miles and 8 minutes to McLane Stadium; and 7.9 miles and 10 minutes from Baylor University campus. The beautiful sunset you see is at Tradinghouse Creek Reservoir, less than 4 miles away. Our guests enjoy a large, beautiful covered Pavilion for individual relaxation or socializing with family and friends. The Pavilion is the perfect place for dinner or just forgetting the cares of the day. Our on-site laundry is available to our guests 24/7. Our standard rates are: $37 daily; $230 weekly (7 nights); and $400 plus electricity (and refundable electricity deposit) The daily and weekly rates include electricity. Located in Bryan, Texas, Galloping Snail RV Park is a very fun park for the family and pets! There is enough space for anyone, if you are traveling, passing through or want a longer camping trip. There are 68 spaces, 20 are pull-thru, 48 back in all with full hookups (20/30/50 amp) and with all the amenities you could need.  We have the 10 year RV rule here.. There are a lot of fun activities to do for everyone to not only get people together, but also to get to enjoy the environment. There is a 2400 sq. ft clubhouse with a full kitchen, workout room, real 45rpm jukebox, darts, skeeball, foosball, airhockey, pooltable, video games, and a bowling lane! There are also two dog parks to help your pets stretch their legs.We do not allow dog kennels / dog runs . For your wellbeing, there is onsite massage therapist and young living oils. The location is great as there are a lot of wonderful things to do inside the park as well as a city close by with great attractions, restaurants and shopping. All sites are 50-foot back-ins with water, 50/30/20 power and waste with strong WiFi covering the park for those in need! There’s plenty of signal to check email, Facebook, and surf the web. Campers can look forward to a number of nearby attractions such as Mason Mountain for hiking, biking, scenic viewing and stargazing, the Eckert James River Bat Cave Preserve and the Mason Square Museum. Shady Grove RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Rockdale, Texas and is a great spot for a fun and relaxing vacation. Campers can look forward to a number of great attractions just beyond the campground including Apache Pass, Fair Park Rodeo Arena, Kay Theater and the Candeleria Mission. There's also the Bella Peregrina Ranch for horseback riding and scenic viewing, the annual Nocturnal Wonderland festival, Wild Things Zoofari, Texas Sky Diving, and plenty of opportunities for kayaking, river rafting, tubing, fishing, boating and wildlife viewing. Welcome Home!   A short 7 miles from downtown Fredericksburg, these primitive RV and primitive campsites are close to Luckenbach, the Old Bat Tunnel and Alamo Springs Burger. In fact the campsite is directly across the street and a short walking distance to the historic Bankersmith Dance Hall and Saloon. Guests can enjoy this Texas Original with concerts, festivals most weekends or even just by stopping by for live music (played daily) and a cold drink. The Saloon is open 7 days a week!   One you arrive, you will have found yourself in the middle of a quaint Historic Ghost Town called Bankersmith, TX with a population of zero! The main building dates back to the 1870’s and was once a US Post Office and a General Store. Check the open hours of Bankersmith TX online. When you arrive, and you must arrive well before 9 PM, you will check in with the Main Bartender at the Bankermith Saloon at 7905 Old San Antonio Road, Fredericksburg Texas.   Campsites are in a large cow pasture across the street from Bankersmith Dance Hall and Saloon. Please don't come expecting Yosemite or the Ritz Carlton. This is as primitive as it gets. Conveniently located in Fredericksburg, Texas off the famous and beautiful Old Highway 9. Please make yourself at home for your stay! No charge for petting the goats or talking to the ghosts! But do not open gates, or hop fences. This Bankersmith Texas Campground is primitive on site but guests are welcome to use both the restrooms and water sources across the street, in the Saloon, when open. The camping grounds are on an open field close to the entrance of the parking. Campers are not to go through the second gate due to livestock.   Campers are of course allowed to bring in food or drink on the campgrounds but it may be easier to enjoy the food from Bankersmith’s Restaurant and Full Bar literally across the street! Bankersmith will truly appreciate your business as well! Live music 7 days a week as well. Hamburgers, Chicken Wings, BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches and a whole lot more (even Fried Bull Testicles)!   At the Bankersmith Saloon, you will hear, smell and interact with all sorts of animals! Get ready for an Alarm clock that goes off at random times. We have farm fresh eggs almost everyday from our free range chickens, so feel free to ask if there are any available! You are one of the herd now. All Fredericksburg farm products {goat soap lotion and candles} are available for purchase in the bar/general store, and make sure to buy your Bankersmith souvenir before saddling up and hitting the road, we have tee shirts, candles, koozies, lotions and hats available.   The main Bankersmith Bar is open Mondays-Wednesdays from 4pm-10pm and Thursdays-Sundays from noon-10pm. Be careful, some of the locals (cats, roosters, donkeys and an old man named Ed) bite. Stop on by the bar to enjoy some drinks and help yourself to our delicious food menu! People drive from 6 states away for our Pulled Pork! On the hauntings, the bar was also a makeshift Hospice for years and the location of multiple souls heading to heaven. A former owner shot himself on the front porch. You can see the shotgun spray marks in the rafters to this very day. The bar itself is home to a ghost known as CW. CW, when he died, was buried in the old out house that used to be outside the bar. The outhouse was knocked down unceremoniously and removed by a former owner. CW has been slamming doors and walking around at night in the bar ever since.        

Located about 15 minutes from San Marcos downtown and the square, San Marcos RV Park is a small friendly park inviting short and long term visitors! We offer full 50 amp hookups! Our convenient location allows one to drive 5 minutes down the road to the San Marcos River, 20 minutes from the outlet mall and only 45 minutes away from Austin and San Antonio! There's lot of fun! From drinking a drink or two on the river to eating some BBQ at local restaurant's, come check us out!    

Located in Bremond, Texas, Lost Oaks RV Park features 14 full 30/50 amp sites and cabins for those seeking something a little more different. Given our convenient location, we are only a short drive to Texas A&M University, Baylor University Campus Magnolia, Texas Ranger Museum, the Dr. Pepper Factory and much more. If you are seeking some some city vibes, there is plenty to adventure in the cities of Austin, Dallas and Houston. Whether its for a short and or long term stay, we hope to see you soon!

The Johnson Creek RV Resort and Park is located in the beautiful and historic town of Kerrville, Texas and is a great place to enjoy a fun southern adventure. Near the site, travelers can enjoy catch and release fishing in the creek, scenic viewing, wildlife viewing, hunting, golfing, biking and nature walking. Just beyond the campground, visitors can look forward to excellent local attractions such as The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden, Museum of Western Art, Riverside Nature Center and breathtaking views and water activities at Flatrock Park.
