Back in August 2025, we were busy clearing the land to create our family-friendly RV retreat.  In December, we will be pouring slabs for our office and museum as well as developing the infrastructure to include roads and RV sites.  We anticipate having sites available to rent by March 2026. We will have sites with modern RV hookups, a little store with bare essentials, and an eclectic museum that stitches together stories and artifacts from Texas and beyond. Amenities will feature a small conference room for business/video needs, a family-friendly gameroom, a laundry facility, and a private rest room with a shower. Initial services will include a self-serve, diverse library suited for all ages, propane distribution/exchange, and a Texas notary public. We will offer discounts for active duty and veteran military personnel, senior citizens, first responders, and educators. Outback Campground and Marina is located on beautiful Lake Livingston in Trinity, Texas. We offer spacious RV sites which include water, sewage, and 30 or 50 amp service. Our free Wi-Fi Internet access covers the entire campground! For the folks who don't own an RV, we offer a variety of other accommodations that can be rented by the day, week or month. Our 2-bedroom (550 sq ft) waterfront cabins are centrally heated and air-conditioned and sleep four persons. A rollaway bed can be provided for an additional person.
