After many years of experience hosting contract employees working at Formosa Plastics and many other nearby employers, we understand the stresses that come with finding a new home away from home for several weeks or months. Splashway is a family water park and campground in Sheridan, Texas. We are located on US Highway 90-A, 20 minutes south of Interstate 10, between San Antonio and Houston, one hour west of Katy and Sugar Land, and a little over an hour and a half south of Austin. Spend the day with us and your whole family will experience a variety of attractions at our water park near Houston including wave pools, kiddie areas, speed slides, mat racers, slides, and a lazy river.   Make your trip to our Houston area water park and campground a vacation! Your family will enjoy camping, fishing, arts and crafts, s’mores and so much more! The little ones will never forget the memories made when they meet “Ray”, our sun shining mascot. Relax under a private cabana and bring your picnic in the waterpark, your own meats to grill, or satisfy the family with juicy burgers, grande nachos, funnel cakes, and Dippin’ Dots ice cream from our cafes. Tubes and parking are free. We provide life jackets for everyone, and our lifeguards are awesome!

Coastal Bay RV Park is a large 40 acre park with extra wide RV spaces capable of handling any size RV. We are located just a few miles outside of Port Lavaca, Texas, a few blocks from the from the waterfront in a small community called Port Alto. We are the perfect RV park for those working away from home and love the peace and quiet of country living. At Coastal Bay, we just don't sweat the small stuff... We want our residents to to feel home and relax around one of our many ponds. We have all the basic amenities, such as, free WiFi, free ice, a large laundry facility, clean showers and restrooms, and a large covered pavilion for just hanging out with friends and family. Now, we are a work in progress since we are a fairly new park, constructed just a couple of years ago. Our plans for 2023-2024 is to complete the construction of covered picnic tables at each RV site, construct six fully covered RV pads, construct a covered outdoor kitchen and bar-b-que area, and launch a full-time on-site food truck.

The Lighthouse RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Bay City and is a great place for a fun yet easy-going Texas vacation. Campers can look forward to nearby attractions like the Matagorda County Museum, Le Tulle Park and the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail for excellent bird watching, hiking, and scenic viewing. The Matagorda bay Nature Trail is another excellent spot for nature enthusiasts.   Campers can also head to Sargent Shores for a fun day by the water, with plenty of sand and water for boating, fishing, and swimming. If Sargent Shores is crowded, there's always the Colorado River, perfect for fishing, kayaking and river rafting. And of course, the area has excellent shops and restaurants for visitors to same local crafts and cuisine, and even a market day on the third Saturday of each month. The Serendipity Bay RV Resort & Marina is located in the beautiful Texas town of Palacios and is a great spot for a fun southern escape. Onsite, travelers can look forward to great fishing, outdoor swimming and boating. Campers can expect a number of great attractions just beyond the campground such as The Sea Center Texas, Brazos Bend State Park, for great hiking, biking, scenic viewing and stargazing, and the Indianola Fishing Marina. There's also The Texas Zoo, Crocodile Encounter and the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge.
