The large "Gathering Place" community building has a coin-operated laundromat, tile showers, restrooms, and large tv's with DirecTV service. The park has been completely renovated, so each space has a level, rocky surface with 30 and 50 amp service, water & sewer connections.

Parrie Haynes Ranch Equestrian Center is settled along the Lampasas River on about 1600 acres of Hill Country terrain. West Fort Hood borders our northern side. The acreage is teeming with natural wildlife and native plants with trails that wind through rolling native prairies, pastures, cedar/oak trees, and crystal clear streams. The Priddy Cabin was built here in 1859. Other homes were scattered across the ranch and have only foundations remaining. Please be careful and respect our heritage. Visit the Parrie Haynes Ranch Museum in the Clubhouse (not big but a labor of love for our history). Families welcome! A full service campground located in Central Texas. The main camp is about 24 acres out of 1600.  Currently, there are 40 complete sites with 30 & 50 amp electricity, water, and pens at individual sites! We have 86 pens and a few corrals. There is a half size arena, round pen, and a fun obstacle course for you and your equine to enjoy. The footing is a combination of sand, caleche, and rock.  My mule is not shod but if your animal is not used to this terrain, I would advise shoes or boots. Keeping Texas Trails open for Equestrians, Hikers, Trail-Runners, and Mountain Bikers.

We also have numerous security cameras throughout the common areas of the park. Cedar Grove RV Park provides you with the amenities you want for an enjoyable outdoor experience. We have 6, pull-through spaces that are 140 feet in length, and 50 back-in spaces to let you choose how you want to park. Each space has abundant trees to provide a real “nature” feel with real shade and cover. Brazos River Retreat, located just 25 miles from downtown Houston and 20 miles from the Medical Center, is a hidden little honey hole. Most campers are convinced they are lost on the way here because you come through a beautiful neighborhood of mansions and multimillion dollar homes. The park is in a secluded area where the park owners chose to keep the peace and tranquility of the natural area. This is not your typical park location. It is built in the middle of some of the most expensive properties in the suburb of Houston called Sugar Land. Once you are on the wooded property, you would believe you are miles away from civilization. However, our park’s neighborhood has two Starbucks, a “Signature Kroger” grocery store, multiple local restaurants, major bank branches, spas, Target, Walmart, etc. Our park features back in, pull thru, full 20/30/50 amp water and sewer sites. Some amenities include trash services, bbq/grill, picnic tables and beautiful waterfront views to list a few. Outdoor activities include backpacking, fishing, hiking, kayaking and canoeing to list a few.  Again, this is not like the other RV parks in the area built with lots of concrete, no trees next to a highway.  We enjoy the secluded outdoors and the amenities of the higher end neighborhood.
