This is a gated park on Lake Whitney. It is right down the street from the marina and boat launch for a convenient getaway or lake life living. We have 56 sites all with 50/30 amps, water and sewer connections. We also have a great community room with a full kitchen, TV, and pool table. There is a laundry room and shower rooms. We also have a bunk house for rent. If you need extra storage while staying with us we also have storage buildings for rent along with boat and trailer parking. We are not fancy and don’t have some of the amenities that the big parks have, but if you want to enjoy your time here, you will. If you want a place to stay where you can view the Texas stars that shine so bright, this is the place!  From here it is only 8.8 miles and 13 minutes to the Magnolia Silos and downtown Waco; 7.3 miles and 8 minutes to McLane Stadium; and 7.9 miles and 10 minutes from Baylor University campus. The beautiful sunset you see is at Tradinghouse Creek Reservoir, less than 4 miles away. Our guests enjoy a large, beautiful covered Pavilion for individual relaxation or socializing with family and friends. The Pavilion is the perfect place for dinner or just forgetting the cares of the day. Our on-site laundry is available to our guests 24/7. Our standard rates are: $37 daily; $230 weekly (7 nights); and $400 plus electricity (and refundable electricity deposit) The daily and weekly rates include electricity. Located in Bryan, Texas, Galloping Snail RV Park is a very fun park for the family and pets! There is enough space for anyone, if you are traveling, passing through or want a longer camping trip. There are 68 spaces, 20 are pull-thru, 48 back in all with full hookups (20/30/50 amp) and with all the amenities you could need.  We have the 10 year RV rule here.. There are a lot of fun activities to do for everyone to not only get people together, but also to get to enjoy the environment. There is a 2400 sq. ft clubhouse with a full kitchen, workout room, real 45rpm jukebox, darts, skeeball, foosball, airhockey, pooltable, video games, and a bowling lane! There are also two dog parks to help your pets stretch their legs.We do not allow dog kennels / dog runs . For your wellbeing, there is onsite massage therapist and young living oils. The location is great as there are a lot of wonderful things to do inside the park as well as a city close by with great attractions, restaurants and shopping. The Woodsy Hollow Campground is located in the beautiful and cozy town of Goodrich, Texas and is a great place for an authentic southern vacation. Campers may look forward to onsite activities near the park's two fishing ponds such as hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, scenic viewing, canoeing and kayaking. Just beyond Goodrich are a number of excellent places to visit, such as Lake Livingston, Lake TomBigBee, Blue Lagoon, Hydro Rockets fly boarding and Riva Row Boat House. We are located just 2 miles from Interstate 20, with a State Park and convenience store located across the street. They sell sandwiches, fishing items, firewood, gasoline, propane, and more. Please note that the lake and picnic table pictures belong to the state park. If the state park is full and we have a vacancy, you can still use a state park pass while staying at Rest-A-Spell rv park and enjoy the state park amenities. We are just 285 ft from Tyler State Park entrance.
