The Cooks Ferry Campground is located in the beautiful town of Fairfield, Texas and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. Onsite, travelers can expect a breathtaking natural scenery with plenty of space on the water for fishing, canoeing and kayaking, as well as space on land for hiking, biking, OHC riding and horseback riding. For nature enthusiasts, there's a ton of great activities just beyond the campground. We have 74 sites that sit on 24 acres in a beautiful country setting. We are conveniently located near Interstate 30 and within 15 minutes of shopping and dining. There is a 1 acre catch and release lake that will be stocked with a variety of fish this spring. Also coming this spring we will have a dog park, playground, Event Barn and pavilion. We have a restroom/shower and laundry facility available at the office. There are many acres of walking trails in phase 2 of the RV park. Phase 2 will be coming later this year with tiny cabins and treehouses available to rent. We offer nightly, weekly and monthly rates. All sites have 20/30 and 50 amp service with the capability to change to 100 amp service. Park models and tiny homes are welcomed. Stop by or call for more information.
