Located off of Highway 67 in beautiful Glen Rose, TXWhether stopping for the night, taking in the local attractions or needing a place to stay for work we welcome you to visit our park. We have pull through sites to support large class A motorhomes with a tow behind vehicle and also smaller back in spaces for truck campers and trailers. All RV spots include full hookup, including electricity of 30 or 50 Amp, city water and sewer connection at all spaces. Restrooms, showers, laundry and Wifi free for all guests.

The Sunset Cove Marina is located in the beautiful town of Corsicana, Texas and is a great spot for an authentic outdoor adventure. Campers can look forward to a number of activities along the Richland Chambers Lake; travelers can enjoy excellent fishing and boating, as well as sunset and scenic viewing along the lake. There's  pecan trees to provide shade for shore-side picnicking and swimming, and there's also plenty of space on the water for kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing. Now open is our café serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just beyond the campground is a number of other attractions including: Pioneer Village, the Pearce Museum, Angelita Vineyard and Winery, Navarro Mills Lake, Canterbury Court Antiques, Corsicana Field Aviation Heritage Foundation Museum and fishing charters and tours. The area is also filled with excellent historic sites and great, local eateries. Amenities at the park include: 22 full RV hook-ups,  Cafe, Bait/Supply store, summer water attraction, water craft rentals, laundry facilities and 3 lane boat ramp. Hope to see you soon!

Amazing recreational getaway with 1.5 miles of clean sandy beaches on the Brazos River. Great fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, water sports and just about anything else outdoors. This remote Texas resort sits on 100 acres of quiet scenic countryside with lots of room to spread out, enjoy nature and get close to wildlife. All of our campsites are huge riverfront sites and are about 100' wide by 200' deep. Firewood, ice, kayaks, paddle boards and generators are available at low prices. Great tasting water from a deep well, clean restrooms and camper dump station are located on premises. We are pet friendly providing your pet is friendly. For tent camping, we are open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights of each week, starting from March 2, 2023, through November 19, 2023. Our schedule extends further during the major holidays and spring break.

Fort Parker is a charming and rustic park nestled near a number of lakes and rivers, making it an authentic spot for a peaceful and historic sightseeing getaway. One may look forward to fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking, as well as scenic views at the waters' edge. Given our convenient location, take advantage of local treasures such as Eagle Mountain Lake and Eagle Mountain Park, both perfect for hunting, fishing, boating and hiking, Shady Grove Park, a great spot for picnicking and stargazing, Sundance Square with its abundance of shops, museums and art galleries, Texas Motor Speedway and Billy Bob's Texas. We are located a short 25 minutes from Fort Worth and between Fort Worth and Azle, where travelers may look forward to a number of excellent shops, restaurants and entertainment options. The Lake Posada RV Park is located in the beautiful and cozy town of Alvarado and is a great place for a quiet, relaxing vacation. Onsite, travelers can enjoy nearby activities such as square dancing, golf, and watching baseball games. Off site, however, campers can look forward to a number of local attractions including Munster Mansion, Mainstay Farm and the Scarborough Renaissance Festival. The Fort Worth Water Garden, Zoo and Botanical Gardens are also get spots as is Beaumont Ranch and the local Japanese Garden. Bishops Art District is a stellar spot for culture and livelihood, and is especially known for being home to a thriving culinary environment. For nature-lovers, there's not shortage of outdoor scenic locations around the park, but three camper favorites are the Cedar Ridge Preserve, Bowman Springs Park and Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park. At this outdoor spots, travelers can enjoy hiking, swimming, canoeing, biking and kayaking. There's something for every type of camper to enjoy! The campground features full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly, each containing trees and a picnic area, a firewood vendor, grills, and a mini-camp store, restrooms and laundry facilities. The Mockingbird Hill RV Park is located near Dallas in Burleson, and is a great spot for an authentic southern vacation. Campers can look forward to a number of nearby activities including the Texas Motor Speedway, Six Flags, Lone Star Park and the Ballpark of Arlington. The town is also home to Hidden Creek, a municipal golf course known for its driving range, 18-hole golf course, gift shop and restaurant. Benbrook Lake is also close by and perfect for scenic and sunset viewing, fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking. Taking Exit 328 on I35 and a quick hop 1.7 miles East of the interstate on Greig Drive, we are the perfect mid-way point for travelers between Dallas and Austin as well as Snow Birds or Winter Texans as we like to call y'all! Oakdale Park, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, has been providing recreational opportunities for families since 1925.  We offer cabins, RV & tent sites, meeting rooms, a playground, picnic sites, recreational equipment, an outdoor stage, paved lanes for the kids and their bikes, a very large, 330,000 gallon swimming pool, a coin laundry, and campground store all for your family's benefit and enjoyment.  Beginning with a CASI Chili Cook Off and IBCA BBQ Cookoff, from February through December there's almost always something happening.  Since 1972, Oakdale has been home to a Spring and and Fall Bluegrass Jamboree (1st Saturday in April and 1st Saturday in October, respectively); since 1982, it has been home to the Lone Star State Dulcimer Festival (Mother's Day weekend); and, since 1987, it has been home to a Fall Woodcarving Show and Rally.  For several years the Paluxy River Bluegrass Association has been hosting 3rd Saturday jam sessions and free stage shows at Oakdale as well.  Many families have been coming here for their reunions for decades.  And, many RV clubs regularly hold rallies here.  As you can see, during our first 100 years, many traditions have sprung up and taken hold.  We're located across the street from the Paluxy River, where you'll find the City of Glen Rose's free Big Rocks Park and River Walk. Next to the Big Rocks is a small dam, a miniature golf course, and a snow cone shack.  Combine those "backyard" attractions with Fossil Rim, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Dinosaur World, the Creation Evidence Museum, The Promise, Barnard's Mill Museum, historic downtown Glen Rose, Squaw Creek Golf Course, and canoeing and tubing at the nearby Brazos River crossing, and there's plenty to keep our guests, both young and old, entertained.Whether it be a weekend retreat, family reunion, RV rally, or special event, make plans to stay at Oakdale Park and start your own tradition!
