When the opportunity came to restore and improve the property, we took on the responsibility of revitalizing what was formerly Eden Marina & Campground and reintroducing it as Shelter Cove Marina & Campground—preserving the character of the lake experience while raising the standard of what guests can expect. Shelter Cove is family-owned and locally invested, with a focus on dependable operations, clean and well-maintained facilities, and a welcoming environment for every type of guest. Our fields are surrounded by beautiful pastures and grazing cows. Eric and I are often amused every day by the 13 head of cows traipsing down to the water pond to cool off every day around 2pm. Although our pond, at the moment, is shrouded by tall trees, we plan to get busy on thinning them out in late November, after the famous Appalachian "changing of the leaves" season. By late next spring, we plan to have a pretty walkway around the pond, along with benches and adirondack chairs for your enjoyment.

Conveniently located only 20 minutes from Glendale's Blue Oval SK Battery Plant, 25 minutes to Nolin River Lake, and just 30 minutes to Elizabethtown. Each site rents for $630 month and includes all utilities. Sites are equipped with 20/30/50-amp service, new water hydrants, fire pits, and a recently installed privacy fence.
