DescriptionDiamond Lakes Regional Park is a 286 acre park located on the historic site of the Augusta International Speedway. The campground at Diamond Lakes will offer 25 full hook-up sites including electricity, water and sewage connections. The park is located on the southern side of Augusta within 15 miles of the Augusta National Golf Club. Geography:The park is located in the Sand Hills region of Georgia, an area known for its gently rolling topography. The park is surrounded to the north and west by residnetial development, and to the south and east by woodlands. Spirit Creek runs along the southern border of the park, just south of the seven small lakes for which the park is named. Recreation:Diamond Lakes Regional Park has several recreation opportunities, including: baseball/softball, 8 tennis courts, 3 outdoor basketball courts with flex court surfacing, 5 fishing ponds, a picnic pavilion, 3 picnic areas, a sand volleyball court and a 25 site campground. Facilities:Diamond Lakes Regional Park consists of two 5-field baseball/softball complexes, a community center and gymnasium co-located with a public library. The campground consists of 25 full hook up sites and a bathouse with ADA accessible toilet/showers.
