The Wyalusing creek can be found bordering the entire north side of the campground. With no campsites in the way, all of our campers can enjoy the entirety of the creek. The Creek is not only great for Small Mouth Bass and Trout, but also kayaking and tubing.

The 998-acre Steep Rock Preserve offers hiking trails which follow the river banks and provide access into the hillsides above. Steep Rock Preserve is not your traditional campground. We offer three remote and primitive campsite sites, two alongside the Shepaug River which require walking approximately .5 mile to the sites: SR1 (wooded lot) and SR2 (open field); and SR3 is in a wooded lot with vehicle access and parking near the campsite. These are primitive sites immersed in nature - no Wi-Fi access, bring your own water, and enjoy the quiet.

This is the place to be at to get some peace and quiet away from the busy city life. Five miles from the Baseball Hall of Fame and downtown Cooperstown, three miles from the Dreams Park, Beaver Valley boasts 276 acres of wooded hills, open meadows, and spring-fed ponds. We can accommodate any type of camping experience from RV sites with full hook-ups to secluded tent sites to tent sites along the pond. For those who want to rough it more comfortably, Beaver Valley has one-room camping cabins that sleep four.   For those who don’t want to rough it at all, Beaver Valley offers 13 fully furnished one-bedroom cabins and 3 fully furnished one-bedroom Tiny Houses that sleep 5. Each has an additional upstairs sleeping loft for the kids and a fold down or pull out couch, private bath, kitchenette, kitchen supplies and gas grill. Explore the fossil pit then follow the path to our giant ash tree that takes 3 sets of outstretched arms to encircle.  Bass fish or row boat, or stroll down to the pond at dusk to see if the beaver are active; you may come upon a great blue heron feeding there as well. Enjoy the playground, tot-lot, basketball area, little league baseball field, arcade and junk-food store.  Catch a game on our major league field--admission is always free. Beaver Valley is also an ideal venue for an overnight retreat or destination wedding, providing accommodations, a reception hall seating 125, catering and a beautiful spot by the pond for a ceremony. 

Gilbert Lake is located near Laurens, New York. It features full or partial hookup campsites that are big rig friendly. Many of them accommodate slide out RVs.
