Located in Newland, North Carolina (Avery County).Our four-season climate makes vacationing here pleasurable at any time of year. Relax with your family, friends, and dogs or get a bite to eat at one of the restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. In the spring and summer, play golf at Mountain Glen Golf Course or trek Grandfather Mountain. In the winter, go skiing or snowboarding at Sugar Mountain or Beech Mountain. Rutledge Lake RV Park is an RV park located at 125 Jillian Trail in Fletcher, North Carolina that features electric, water, sewer full 20/30/50 amp hookup sites for RV's less than ten years old. Visitors can enjoy an all night fishing experience in a private lake, free canoes and kayak use along with camp fire and picnic table access. Explore the natural beauty of the Tennessee Valley in a pastoral farm setting surrounded by the beauty & grace of llamas.  The Lazy Llama Campground is a unique new family owned and operated campground in Northeast Tennessee.  The campground is part of a 22-acre llama farm which is home to over 40 llamas and various other livestock including miniature donkeys and friendly emus.  It features 31 campsites nestled among several large 40+ year-old maple trees.  Most of the sites are big-rig friendly including six 35' x 75'-100' pull-through accessible. Go straight through the light and up the hill, follow the signs for US 23N/ US 74E * Stay on US 23N/ US 74E * Go approximately 8.5 miles (Just past Mile Marker 93) * Look for Green Balsam Highway sign on the right. * Take the next right on to Candlestick Lane * Take the first Right only 322 ft. on to Old Balsam Depot Road at the Moonshine Creek Bill Board * Go up a hill, over the RR Tracks, pass the Post Office on the Left, Follow the RR tracks .3 miles * AT THE FORK IN THE ROAD STAY TO THE RIGHT! * Cross the RR tracks a 2nd time on to Old Balsam Depot Road * The Balsam Mountain Inn will be on your Left * Stay on this Road 1.5 miles it will turn into Dark Ridge Road, the Campground will be on the left.
