Our location is 1/2 mile from TIEC, (Tryon International Equestrian Center).  Each cabin (upper and lower) has a quality, king-sized, double, inner coil air beds and heat/air conditioning. Other features include an upper deck close to the trees and a fire pit located near the Grand Porch. Lower cabins, (#2-#6) have private bathrooms and kitchenettes attached to an enclosed, sheltered, private deck. Upper cabins, (#22-#26) have a shared bathroom. We provide complimentary K-cups and snacks for our guests. This is a "glamping experience, almost like camping.  You will likely hear birds; acorns falling upon the tin roof and will see butterflies and lightening bugs.  You can take advantage of our Grand Porch to enjoy the fresh air, the mountains and sky.  Our Grand porch is also a wonderful spot for an outdoor wedding. Next to the famed Bristol Motor Speedway, Pole Position Campground is an easy walk from the race track. Pole Position offers hundreds of 20’ x 50’ level camping sites available in three tiers. Each site offers full hookups with 50 amp electric service and our campground includes a large bathhouse with full shower facilities.  In 2020, the campground will be open March 30th-April 6th, June 18th - June 22nd, and September 13th-September 20th. Explore the natural beauty of the Tennessee Valley in a pastoral farm setting surrounded by the beauty & grace of llamas.  The Lazy Llama Campground is a unique new family owned and operated campground in Northeast Tennessee.  The campground is part of a 22-acre llama farm which is home to over 40 llamas and various other livestock including miniature donkeys and friendly emus.  It features 31 campsites nestled among several large 40+ year-old maple trees.  Most of the sites are big-rig friendly including six 35' x 75'-100' pull-through accessible. The park provides free excellent WiFi (150 mbps), sewer, water, and 50/30/20 amp electrical service at all sites.  We are pet-friendly of course with large green space to walk your dogs.  Unique Activities  The park includes llama trails through the woods and pastures for walking among the animals on the farm, Storytelling Llama Hikes, and llama activities. Come join us with your tiny house on 10 acres of beautiful mountain views on the Cherokee National Forest. We are a year-round, full time living, community with a salt water pool, onsite laundry facility and a catch and release fish pond. We also offer shower and bath facilities along with primitive camping, so if your company can’t fit in your tiny house, they can come visit anyway! Tell them to pack a tent! We also welcome artists and performers for community entertainment at the pavilion. We are 5 minutes from one of the most desirable waterfalls in the Greenville area, Margarette Falls. We are 15 minutes from Tusculum college, shopping, groceries and restaurants in Greenville, TN. We are also 45 minutes from Johnson City and one hour from Sevierville and Pigeon Forge area. Sherry has owned Old Mountain Campground since 2008, which she built with her late husband. She lives on site and provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as a feeling of security to residences. Her newest vision is to see a tiny house community on the property. Sites are available with private atmosphere for tiny houses. All spots provide water and septic and electricity is paid by tiny house dweller. Four 30 amp sites are available currently with more to come. So bring a neighbor or two with you! 50 amp sites can be discussed upon request. Sites are $325 a month and electric is .15 per KWH.
