Enjoy spectacular sights at the Wild River's Campground including deep, steep-sided canyons carved out by the Rio Grande River and the Red River through beautiful, volcanic rock. The Elephant Rock Campground is located in the Carson National Forest, and is well-known for the Red River and Eagle Rock Lake being nearby. The Kiowa National Grassland is a primitive campsite located in Mills, New Mexico. The area is surrounded by juniper and pinion pine which rings the top of Mills Canyon; although there's not very much shade for people, if you bring your horses, you're sure to find shade for them. The area is popular for its wide, open spaces, providing plenty of room for ATV enthusiasts, equestrians and portable corrals. With hundreds of acres of wild, desert land, this park is perfect for clear skies and star gazing, biking and exploring, so feel free to go out there and explore! The park has tent sites and tent pads, but no amenities beyond that, so bring everything you need for a distraction-free stay. We hope you visit soon!

Jemez Falls - USFS is located near the beautiful New Mexico city of Santa Fe, and is a great camping spot for the history-buff and the desert lover. Visitors can look forward to great museums, world-class art and a breathtaking natural terrain surrounding the campground.    Amenities and Activities RVers can take advantage of a ton of great activities near the campground. The Coyote Creek State Park is located an hour east of Taos, and is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo mountains. Just beside a meandering stream, campers can enjoy hours of fly fishing, as well as the sights and sounds of a flourishing waterside oasis that's enclosed by spruce and pine. With tons of wild flowers to photograph, the park is also excellent for hiking, biking, picnicking and birding. We can't wait for you to visit the creek and see it all!

The Jemez Mountains is the breathtaking backdrop for the Fenton Lake State Park in Jemez Springs, New Mexico. Surrounded by beautiful ponderosa pines, the park is ideal of wildlife viewing and hiking, and with the Rio Cebolla running through it, it's also excellent for fishing and canoeing. The river is well-stocked with rainbow trout and German brown trout; ice fishing is also popular there. The park also has a fun playground for kids making it well-sought after among the little ones, and is also known to attract cross-country skiiers during the winter months. Boating, horseback riding and picnicking are also common activities at the park.

The Riana Abiquiu Lake COE located on a scenic bluff overlooking the scenic Abiquiu Lake in northern New Mexico. Look forward to the distinctive scents of the area from fragrant pinion pine, sage and juniper, as well as breathtaking sights from the colorful rock formations around the park. Visitors enjoy fishing in the lake, picnicking, boating, hiking and water skiing, and of course the gorgeous view of the desert vista.

Near the park, campers can enjoy the quiet and serenity of bighorn sheep country, as well as breathtaking views around the various hiking trails. 

The East Side Campground is located at Sumner Lake, New Mexico and is a great place for a quiet yet adventurous southwestern vacation. Enjoy excellent fishing at the lake for trout, bass, crappie and walleye, and plenty of water surface for water sports such as swimming, boating, canoeing and paddle boarding. Of course, with so much open area to explore, many campers go on long hikes or bike rides along the trails or make their own paths. The Wild Rivers National Recreation Area is located within the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument and along the Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River. That being said, expect some of the most untouched, breathtaking views of nature this side of the United States. Experience the beauty of an 800-foot deep canyon, volcanic flowers and naturally rugged vistas. The diverse terrain ensures the perfect environment for a flourishing flora and fauna ecosystem. While you hike the trails, look out for gorgeous birds and small animals, as well as beautiful blooming flowers and plants. Besides hiking, you can also go boating, fishing, biking, picnicking and scenic driving.

The June Bug is located in the Red River Canyon in a gorgeous spruce-ponderosa forest. Fall in love with this New Mexico oasis at this park where you will find plenty of picnic tables and acres and acres of raw forest for exploration. There are also trails for hiking and biking, and wide open skies for stargazing. Be sure to look up at dawn and dusk to catch one of those iconic New Mexico sunrises or sunsets. The trees almost seem to absorb the noises around you, so look forward to a peaceful, relaxing getaway. 

The Arroyo Hondo Recreation is located in the beautiful city of Taos, New Mexico and is a great spot for your next southwestern vacation. The Juniper Campground is located at the Bandelier National Monument and is a popular campign spot for families and small groups of about 10 people or fewer. Look forward to some breathtaking views of the cliffside and mountain ranges, as well as a thriving wildlife landscape. Keep you eyes open for deer, the Bandelier butterflies, American pika and Abert's squirrels, as well the beautiful natural terrain that there creatures call home. The hiking trails at this park are slightly easier and shorter than at other parks at Bandelier, and this ensures that children and younger camper are not overly taxed as they explore the area. Also be sure to take pictures of the beautiful monument and look upward at dawn or dusk to see that iconic New Mexico sky! Visit Lake Sumner to enjoy the exquisite terrain iconic of the southwest. Bring your camera to capture tall, looming mountains in the background and acres of forested plains. The park is popular maong people who love watersports, but also offers excellent trails and pathways for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Enjoy swimming, boating and of course excellent fly fishing while you're there. The park is also close to Santa Fe, and is a great stopping point if you're headed that way. The park is also relatively close to the Bosque Redondo Memorial and Fort Sumner.
