The dunes, mostly made up of quartz particles, are constantly changing and move up to a foot a year. There's also some unusual natural features such as shallow water pools and mature cottonwood trees. Visitors can enjoy this vast and beautiful sand dune for all the disc-surfing they can handle, and then look forward to quiet, cool evenings looking up at a clear, beautiful sky.
