Fall in love with New Mexico by visiting the Onderosa Group Campground in the Banedlier National Monument. The Jemez Mountains is the breathtaking backdrop for the Fenton Lake State Park in Jemez Springs, New Mexico. Surrounded by beautiful ponderosa pines, the park is ideal of wildlife viewing and hiking, and with the Rio Cebolla running through it, it's also excellent for fishing and canoeing. The river is well-stocked with rainbow trout and German brown trout; ice fishing is also popular there. The park also has a fun playground for kids making it well-sought after among the little ones, and is also known to attract cross-country skiiers during the winter months. Boating, horseback riding and picnicking are also common activities at the park.

The Coyote Creek State Park is located an hour east of Taos, and is nestled in the Sangre De Cristo mountains. Just beside a meandering stream, campers can enjoy hours of fly fishing, as well as the sights and sounds of a flourishing waterside oasis that's enclosed by spruce and pine. With tons of wild flowers to photograph, the park is also excellent for hiking, biking, picnicking and birding. We can't wait for you to visit the creek and see it all!

The Riana Abiquiu Lake COE located on a scenic bluff overlooking the scenic Abiquiu Lake in northern New Mexico. Look forward to the distinctive scents of the area from fragrant pinion pine, sage and juniper, as well as breathtaking sights from the colorful rock formations around the park. Visitors enjoy fishing in the lake, picnicking, boating, hiking and water skiing, and of course the gorgeous view of the desert vista.

Abiquiu Lake is located in northern New Mexico and is known to offer some of the area's finest fishing opportunities. Spots are filled on a first come first serve basis, and there are only a few amenities such as: picnic tables, Rv hookups, water and fire rings. 3 miles west from Ghost Ranch Education & Retreat Center is the Echo Amphitheater, a favorite among serial visitors to Abiquiu, New Mexico. Schools, clubs and vacationers take advantage of the covered picnic areas and Echo Amphitheater Trail. The last part of the trail has steep stairs leading up to the Echo Canyon, where the rocks are a natural habitat for snakes, so be sure to stay on the trail and off the rocks! There's also tons of hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, skiing and snowboarding to be done. There's rarely a dull moment at the Echo Amphitheater!

Located on the west bank of the Rio Grande river is the Senator Willie M Chavez State Park, just a few miles from downtown Belen. Visitors can enjoy the views from acres of farmland, hiking through the bosque and fishing in the irrigation ditches.
