Apache RV Park is located in western New Mexico on the shortest and most scenic route between Albuquerque and Phoenix or Tucson. The park is surrounded by dense forestry, and popular as a base camp for those seeking to explore surrounding areas within the county. Datil Well Campground is located at one of the 15 wells that are along the old Magdalena Livestock Driveway. The area includes 3 miles of hiking trails in piñon-juniper and ponderosa pine woodlands, with scenic views of the San Augustin Plains. The trail and vistas also offer an occasional glimpse of wildlife in a quiet setting. Enjoy picnicking along the small spots of leveled land, and be sure to look up at twilight to see the stars come out in full brightness.

The Soldier Creek Campground is located in the beautiful Coronado National Forest and is a great place to kick back and truly soak in the southwest's natural terrain. Onsite, there's also a diverse and breathtaking terrain, perfect for exploring and scenic viewing. Travelers can also look forward to local landmarks like the Chiricahua National Monument, Saguaro National Park and the Tumacacori National Historic Park. Among these parks and the Grand Canyon, campers can enjoy some of the southwest's most iconic scenes and geological formations, as well as the excellent river rafting, climbing, hiking and mountain biking that accompanies these sites. There's also historical treasures nearby including the Cases Grande Ruins National Monument Fort Bowie National Historic Site and the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. For even more Arizona fun, the Kartchner Caverns and San Pedro National Riparian Conservatory Area are also relatively close by.
