The La Vista RV Park is located halfway up the mesa, and has a spectacular view of Belen, New Mexico, especially at dusk and dawn. Visitors love the area for being just 35 minutes from Albuquerque, and for having its own annual balloon festival. The Petroglyph National Monument in Albuqueque is also very close, and there are restaurants and shops just downhill from the park. The Salmon Run Campground is located at the Heron Lake State Park and is a great place to connect with nature. The lake is designated as a "quiet lake," so no wake-speeds are permitted among boat operators. This means visitors can enjoy peaceful paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking excursions, as well as fishign for trout and salmon. In the winter months, ice fishing and cross crountry skiing are popular, so plan for that! On land, campers can enjoy hiking the great trails, biking, pinicking and wildlife viewing. Keep an eye out for black bears, elk, mule deer, bald eagles and osprey. 

Located off Old Highway 60 in Bernardo, New Mexico, Kiva RV Park & Horse Motel is a local favorite. Take in acres of beautiful desert land and a peaceful atmosphere facilitated by friendly, helpful staff. Bar S RV Park is an RV park located on 1860 Pinon Drive in Grants, NM. The site includes electricity. The campground is open all year.

The Mansano Mountains State Park is located in Mountainair, New Mexico and at an elevation of over 7,000 feet, it is known for its wonderfully cool temperatures and outdoor activities. Campers head there for the excellent set and interpretive trails for hiking and biking. The park associations also holds educational programs which is great for campers hoping to learn more about the wildlife and where to catch glimpses of the various birds that call the park home. The Ponderosa Campground is located just 6 miles from the Bandelier National Monument and the town of Los Alamos. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Canyon, where you will find acres of rugged mesa country with petroglyphs, carving in the soft stone walls and the standing masonry walls that play tribute to the areas rich cultural past and present. Look out for wildlife such as black bears, mule deer, mountain lions and squirrels as well as birds like canyon towhees and Stellar's jays. One hiking trail extends from the campsite, however, there are other trails just outside the site and excellent rock climbing opportunities at the Bandelier Monument. Campers also venture into town to pick up supplies at the various stores, go ice skating or even visit one of the museums. 

The Enchanted Moon RV Park is located in Valle Escondida, New Mexico and is a great spot for experience the best of New Mexico. The campground is close to Taos and Angel Fire, offering visitors a number of cultural and historical sites to explore. There's also acres and acres of land at the site, all at an 8,500 foot elevation. Look forward to cool temperatures and fresh air, perfect for stargazing, fishing at the ponds and wildlife and wildflower viewing. There's also man made attractions like golfing near the Carson National Forest. Guests can also expect great winter activities like snow boarding and skiing during the colder months.
